gem of québec city! i came here on my honeymoon & we ended up visiting twice for a late dinner. the food is impeccable! the french onion soup & the sandwiches are excellent. the service is top notch. atmosphere is gorgeous both inside & out. i recommend patio seating in the warm months! i would come back to québec city just to eat here for a few days & enjoy the old town
This place is fantastic. Layla the waitress is a hoot. The French onion soup was amazing. The historic stone walls are a wonder.
Wanna have the best ever French onion soup in a dungeon? Well this is the place for you! Tom & Chuck are stellar & this place deserves at the very least a pop-in beer if you're ever in vieux quebec
Hidden little gem, for today anyways. Not too busy & a very welcoming atmosphere when you walk in. It was so warm with the fire place going in this cold march weather. Very charming & cozy. Had a beer & shots of maple whiskey along with some very good French onion soup with the squeakiest cheese. Delicious. Come check out this pub it's great.
One of the best pubs I've ever been to. Ordered the smoked meat sandwich & French onion soup. My wife ordered chips & chicken wings. Everything here was 10/10.
A Must-Visit Gem in Old Quebec! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This pub is an absolute treasure! Tucked away in a charming old building made completely out of cobblestone, & an unassuming entrance, it feels like stepping back in time. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, & full of character-exactly what you'd hope for in Old Quebec.
Now, the food… the French onion soup is simply to die for-rich, flavorful, & perfectly topped with gooey, golden cheese. Every bite was perfection. The rest of the menu is just as delightful, although limited as the focus is more on the drinks. There are also board games available & a big warm fireplace by the entrance.
To top it off, the service is outstanding. The staff are welcoming, friendly, & genuinely make the experience even better. Whether you're stopping in for a quick drink or a full meal, this place is an absolute must-visit. Can't wait to come back!
Cozy place with good drinks & decent food. We were not too impressed with the meals though as the French onion soup lacked broth & was just 50% cheese. Personally I prefer a bit more broth to make it feel like an actual soup rather than just a block of cheese. Salads were solid though & pickles also pretty good. Croque Monsieur sandwich was not very interesting & just ok.
Beautiful pub with historic charm. We were warmly greeted (English speaking) & enjoyed a pint with a shot of maple whiskey & truly delicious French onion soup & Brie w salad. The menu is bar limited - definitely a great stop in Quebec City
Such a cool pub! Great service, beer & delicious French onion soup!
