My partner found the place, reviews said it looked like a cave, The stunning historic stonework & arched ceilings create a beautiful, unique atmosphere. We visited three times with friends during our trip, & the staff was fantastic every single time.
We got recommendations for other places from the bartenders & when we asked where we should go next from those places we were told this Pub L'oncle Antoine. The bartender network is strong here. Trust your bartenders, Thank you for some great experiences
Carful of the maple whiskey.
Great pub in Quebec city with a chill/ fun vibe. Servers are great, drinks are fairly priced. A great spot to hang out after a dinner in the old town! I also had the French onion soup one night & it was great!
Excellent pub with local flavour, very friendly staff who were a lot of fun. Very good food as well!
We had so much fun at this pub. The bartender was fantastic - super friendly, excellent drink maker & the ambience was welcoming & friendly. There are board games to play & the energy in the pub leads to a fun evening out.
Great place to hang out have drinks & play card & board games (provided by pub).
Awesome pub!! We visited the area for four days last week & spent three of those nights at the pub. We had the same server (can't remember her name), who was awesome, pleasant & very attentive to all - so nice to get such great service. The place was always busy, many often waiting for seats, but understand why they would. The service, other patrons, staff, music, environment & price were all awesome. Would highly recommend the pub & will certainly visit went we return.
Small cozy little pub. Can be a bit loud depending on the crowd. Wait staff was friendly & attentive. Food & drink were decent.
Brought family here from Australia, & the french onion soup did not disappoint! The broth was good, not too salty, & the generous almost one inch of cheese on top was incredible. We also had nachos which were good. The menu is limited but everyone is here for the soup & drinks, it's pub food.
They had an unexpected staff shortage while we were there, & though we waited a bit longer, our server did his friendly & attentive best to make up for delays.
The atmosphere is unbeatable, especially if you go even further downstairs to the washrooms! What did they even use the sub-cellars for in the 17th C?
This is the Coolest pub we've ever been to & the French onion soup is amazing! 😋 This is a hidden gem & a must do in Old Quebec City! 👍🏼😁
Staff speak English & very friendly & welcoming.
