A Must-Visit Gem in Old Quebec! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This pub is an absolute treasure! Tucked away in a charming old building made completely out of cobblestone, & an unassuming entrance, it feels like stepping back in time. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, & full of character-exactly what you'd hope for in Old Quebec.
Now, the food… the French onion soup is simply to die for-rich, flavorful, & perfectly topped with gooey, golden cheese. Every bite was perfection. The rest of the menu is just as delightful, although limited as the focus is more on the drinks. There are also board games available & a big warm fireplace by the entrance.
To top it off, the service is outstanding. The staff are welcoming, friendly, & genuinely make the experience even better. Whether you're stopping in for a quick drink or a full meal, this place is an absolute must-visit. Can't wait to come back!
N estled in the heart of Old Quebec, Pub L'Oncle Antoine is a gem that perfectly blends history, ambiance, & exceptional service. Set in a 17th-century stone cellar, the pub radiates charm & warmth, offering a cozy atmosphere that transports you back in time. The drink selection is impressive, featuring an array of local craft beers, wines, & spirits to suit every palate. Their mulled wine, in particular, is a must-try, especially during the colder months. The food menu, while simple, complements the drinks perfectly, with hearty options like sandwiches & charcuterie boards that highlight Quebec's culinary traditions. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, & genuinely passionate about making your visit enjoyable. Whether you're a history buff, a beer enthusiast, or just looking for a unique spot to unwind, Pub L'Oncle Antoine offers an unforgettable experience. It's a must-visit for anyone exploring Old Quebec!
I had an amazing experience at Pub L'Oncle Antoine, & a lot of it was thanks to the incredible manager, Tom. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm & inviting, & Tom made sure everything ran smoothly. He was attentive, friendly, & went above & beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome. The service was impeccable, & it's clear that Tom leads his team with professionalism & care. He even took the time to check in with us personally, which added a special touch to the evening. If you're looking for a cozy spot with great vibes, excellent drinks, & a manager who genuinely cares about his customers, this is the place to be. Tom truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!
Quant pub spot - simple but delicious quebecoise pub faire with great service
Awesome find on a cold snowy night. This pub is older than America & so nice & kind to Americans! Catherine is a machine, never stops moving, so nice & such a great host! The European hot dog is amazing. Get the maple whiskey shot & a beer. Warm reception, great food, solid service & great times!
Very cozy pub, great vibe, tons of drink options. Recommend for drinking more than eating if you are looking for more choices than meat & cheese sandwiches because it doesn't really have a kitchen.
Beautiful pub with historic charm. We were warmly greeted (English speaking) & enjoyed a pint with a shot of maple whiskey & truly delicious French onion soup & Brie w salad. The menu is bar limited - definitely a great stop in Quebec City
Such a cool pub! Great service, beer & delicious French onion soup!
