Brought family here from Australia, & the french onion soup did not disappoint! The broth was good, not too salty, & the generous almost one inch of cheese on top was incredible. We also had nachos which were good. The menu is limited but everyone is here for the soup & drinks, it's pub food.
They had an unexpected staff shortage while we were there, & though we waited a bit longer, our server did his friendly & attentive best to make up for delays.
The atmosphere is unbeatable, especially if you go even further downstairs to the washrooms! What did they even use the sub-cellars for in the 17th C?
Was in Old Quebec & the inside was very rustic & period orientated. Great atmosphere. Had the best long island on this trip.
Went back in time... I had the old fashioned with maple syrup whiskey OMG amazing! & the european hot dog with mustard was so good!!! This place is known for being in one of the oldest cellars in the area.
Francis was absolutely amazing, wonderful service, a credit to this establishment!
cute looking place, good service but seriously understaffed. Food was good but not exceptional. Some of the onion soup had burned bread which ruined the taste.
On recommande chaudement..
