Poor food quality & Expensive for what it is.
Good place for a drink, not the best for good cuisine, as it was very basic.
It is a tourist-trap restaurant. Too bad. They could make so much more money if the food was really good & not just junk.
Small cozy little pub. Can be a bit loud depending on the crowd. Wait staff was friendly & attentive. Food & drink were decent.
We went to grab a drink to warm up while sight seeing. I got the mulled wine, but didn't hit the spot. Didn't seem to have that traditional taste.. more so tasted like hot red wine. The coffee was yummy though. Lovely atmosphere & great vibes overall though. Very cozy with a fire going.
When there once because of a friend. It's a nice place. A bit claustrophobic. The service & food is awesome. It just can get very loud so, if you don't like loud environments, it is not your place. It is not mine for that same reason
We were in Quebec City for the weekend & ate here twice. It was our favorite part of the trip. We loved everything about this place, the food, the drinks, the service, the old charm. We can't wait to be back in December when the fireplace is on. We tried the onion soup, European hot dog & croque monsieur with a pint of lager & shots of Jameson.
