I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Shiraz Restaurant in Quebec. I was visiting from Toronto with my 3 children, & we arrived at exactly 9:00 PM. The restaurant closes at 10:00 PM, so we still had a full hour.
As soon as I told the lady at the front that we wanted to dine in for 2 adults & 3 children, she immediately told us that there was no food left because they had been very busy that day. We never even had the chance to say what we wanted to order. As soon as we mentioned dining in, she said there was no food left.
After we left, we decided to call the restaurant. The same lady answered the phone, & when we confronted her about what she had told us, her explanation changed. She then said that they had no BBQ available. Again, we had never even told her what we wanted to order.
This was very confusing & disappointing because we were told there was no food left, but then given a completely different explanation over the phone. It honestly felt like she simply did not want to serve us for dine-in. We were visiting Quebec for the first time from Toronto, & this was a very disappointing & unwelcoming experience.
If there was a specific item unavailable or if dine-in service was ending early, that should have been clearly explained. Instead, we were given different reasons each time we asked.
Very disappointed with the service & the way we were treated.
We had a wonderful experience at Shiraz Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, & the kebab was especially good made with high quality, tender, & tasty meat.
The restaurant was clean & welcoming, with a warm atmosphere, beautiful ambiance, & excellent hospitality. We truly enjoyed our meal & felt very well taken care of.
Dear Sahar, thank you so much for your kindness & wonderful hospitality. We really appreciated your warm welcome & excellent service. We look forward to coming back again! ❤?
One of the top three Iranian restaurants I have experienced in different cities around Canada. I am not sure why people would complain about price of a restaurant after they already chose to go there & then rate for pricing. The food is super delicious & workers are very friendly
First thing I do when I am choosing a restaurant is reading the recent bad reviews & what I saw here seems more like personal issues that genuine reviews based on my experience.
The amount of food is probably enough for TWO people, we could not finish it even though it was super delicious.
Highly recommended!
This is our third time in Quebec from the US & ,so far, the best restaurant we have tried. The food was beyond what we had expected. The waiter, Farshad, helped us to choose both in English & Turkish & also, he was very friendly.
