We celebrated our first family vacation since Covid by going all out with a dinner at Restaurant Tanière3. Service was amazing & we really enjoyed the entire experience. One person in our party was vegetarian & the restaurant was able to offer a complete vegetarian option from start to finish. Our vegetarian also chose to have the non-alcoholic drink pairing instead of the wine pairing the others in our party selected & her drinks all looked amazing. This was a super pricey night so I doubt we would visit again on a future visit to Quebec but I highly recommend the restaurant to others.

Truly an eating EXPERIENCE. It wasn't just about the food but the history, ambiance, & senses. Each bite was an explosion of distinct flavors in genius combinations. We decided to select different pairings so we could share. My husband had the non-alcoholic mocktails & I had the wine experience package. I was blown away by the creativity & deliciousness of the mocktails. It was a highlight. Thank you to all the people who went into this night—from farmers & foragers to sous-chefs & servers & chefs!

Simply the best fine dining experience we've ever had — & we have dined in Michelin star restaurants in France, Italy & a 3-star in the United States. The experiential/interactive aspect was thoroughly enjoyable, but without the great food, it wouldn't have been enough to carry the evening. We were very appreciative of the efforts made to accommodate some admittedly complicated dietary preferences. The team was exceptional — & in particular, I enjoyed the group of sommeliers, particularly the young woman. We had a wine pairing & a non-alcoholic pairing & the non-alcoholic pairing was so creative that it made for a lot of conversation.
This is a restaurant worth traveling for.

Good but not great. We have been to many of these high end multi course/experience restaurants around the globe & this one just felt flat. The food was all good & service attentive, but just lacked a pop or originality. Items seemed a little tired & the higher end wine pairing was very average & very small pours. Should have just bought a nice bottle. We don't mind paying these prices for an amazing dining experience that peaks your tastebuds, but this just was it. La Fontinac restaurant tasting menu was much better & less expensive imo

We had a fantastic evening at Tanière³, absolutely a highlight of our first ever visit to Quebec City. The entire evening lasted 3 1/2 hours but it flew by quickly. The staff was both friendly & professional, the first & third rooms in the vault had a particularly nice ambiance, but naturally the star of the show was the food. It was beautifully plated; I particularly enjoyed the presentations that mimicked nature & had a terrarium or forest feel to them. Everything was delicious, thoughtful, beautiful, & in just the right amounts so that we could (almost) make it through all the courses. If you go as a couple I highly recommend one of you getting the non-alcoholic option & one of you the wine pairings & sharing. The non-alcoholic options were so interesting & creative - & delicious! The mushroom ‘coffee' with blueberry milk was a particular favorite.

This was the coolest experience & best meal we ever ate. We did one nonalcoholic drink & the lower tier wine pairing & both were excellent & highly recommend adding in. Staff were so friendly.
