My husband & I dined here in September, & it was by far the most fabulous restaurant we have ever experienced. We have traveled worldwide & would fly back to Quebec City to have this experience again! Lengthy tasting menu well worth the hours. The time flew by & we were amazed that we didn't notice the over 3 1/2 hours. Wonderful wine pairing. Incredible atmosphere! I am an Interior Designer & extremely picky. I cant recommend Taniere highly enough. If you are lucky, you will be able to find a reservation.

Excellent on a adoré les mises en scène (la cle, le poème, les changement de salle) qui nous faisait vraiment switcher d'un plat a l'autre. Sans rien enlever à la qualité des accords mets/vins de tres grande qualité, mention special pour l'excellent travail sur les accords sans alcool trop souvent négligés.

I know a completely positive review isn't too helpful but our experience was amazing. The ambiance/rooms/lighting was really well done, the music in the different rooms was chosen well. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, & friendly. The food was stellar & the pairings well-thought-out, especially considering one of us had non-alcoholic pairings with a limited (pescatarian) menu.

If I *had* to nitpick, I'd have liked a little bigger wine with the cheese course (it was the Coteaux du Loire). It wasn't bad - just didn't live up to the other pairings. & it's really a stretch to think of that one thing.

I will recommend Taniere to anyone I know visiting Quebec who is interested in experiencing local food. Thank you again for an exciting experience.

C'était notre première fois à la Tanière & nous comptons certainement y retourner. Une expérience gastronomique sans pareil. Une soirée d'anniversaire que je n'oublierai jamais. Tout était succulent & le service & l'ambiance simplement parfait du début à la fin! Un endroit à découvrir dans cette magnifique ville de Québec!!

The flavors were out of this world & the wine pairing was fantastic with the tasting menu. The atmosphere was intimate & I enjoyed the experience in such a cool & historic spot. The service was on point & they don't skimp on the portions either. Perfect place for the extra special occasion.

What a fantastic experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal & the collection wine + cocktail pairing. This restaurant without a doubt deserves at least two Michelin stars. Every server & staff was friendly, warm, & genuine. Thank you for making our Quebec City trip a highlight!
