Excellente découverte sur la rue Saint-Jean! La cuisine péruvienne est savoureuse, colorée & préparée avec des ingrédients qui semblent très frais. Les ceviches sont particulièrement réussis & les portions sont généreuses. Le service est chaleureux, attentionné & on se sent bien accueilli dès l'arrivée.

L'ambiance est conviviale & animée, parfaite autant pour un souper entre amis que pour une soirée en couple. Les cocktails, notamment ceux à base de pisco, valent aussi le détour.

Le rapport qualité-prix est très bon & on comprend rapidement pourquoi ce restaurant récolte autant d'excellents commentaires. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir les saveurs du Pérou à Québec. J'y retournerai avec plaisir!

On s'y croirait au Pérou!
Avec une ambiance très chaleureuse & musicale. Avec chansonniers & instruments. Étant allé au Pérou, on s'y croirait dans le parler ainsi que dans les plats & breuvages. On a essayé plusieurs entrées & plats principaux & ce fût un délice. & que dire des délicieux cocktails & de l'établissement. Le tout, avec un excellent service & des recommandations attentionnés. Je recommande.

It was a very nice dinner, great food & cocktails, excellent service! The ceviche was delicious as was the cocktail Pisco Sour. I would highly recommend Resto Bar Lima!!

Tucked in to old Quebec but amazing spot to go for a walk & get transported back in time through this neighbourhood. The atmosphere is cozy, but there is fun to be had within these walls & the food, drinks come with a distinct flavour that transports outside of Quebec. The service was attentive & very clear about the options available. Will be revisiting again & telling friends this is your next date night or cocktail evening!

Seconde visite chez Lima & nous avons adoré ! La bouffe était aavlureuse, c'était de bonnes portions, le service était chaleureux & efficace. Les cocktails péruviens… 😋!

Lima wants to transport you. The room hums. The music is loud. The glasses feel like they are vibrating. There is a one man show, traditional Peruvian music, & warm lights. It is all carefully staged to get you in the mood before you even open the menu.

We went all in. Cocktails, starters, mains.

The octopus on olive purée is genuinely good. Salty, smooth, clean. The olive brings everything together & actually feels thought through. The chicken starter, on the other hand, is just there. A decent portion. Safe flavors. Nothing that takes a risk. The kind of dish that feels like it exists to fill space on the menu.

The cocktails are solid. Balanced, clean, well executed.

For the main, I had the pork chicharrones. A big, colorful plate. The real star is the onion salad. Sharp & limey. The pork tastes good, but the cooking could be tighter. The fries feel like filler. I would trade them for more vegetables without hesitation. It is heavy. You will leave full.

My partner had the rice with shrimp & calamari. It is good. Straightforward. No ambition. No disaster. No surprises.

Lima is a good place. Three stars. The prices suggest something bolder than what shows up on the plate. I was not disappointed. I was not impressed. But I was full. Sometimes that is the whole story.
