I always seek out Peruvian food, & this was wonderful. Even better than the food was watching the one server taking care of everyone in perfect French, English, & Spanish!
Cute place. Good food. Sebastian took care of us. The food (duck confit) I had felt more French than Peruvian.
Our last night in Quebec City, I had my eye on this restaurant since we arrived. It did not disappoint! Service was excellent, food was amazing & beautiful decor too! Busy for Monday evening.my husband had not tried Peruvian food & loved it.
Juan was excellent & recommended the perfect drink to start of an excellent meal.
Highly recommended Lima for authentic Peruvian cuisine.
We had an amazing experience at this Peruvian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious & full of authentic flavor. The anticuchos was incredibly fresh. The seafood chaufa was extremely flavorful , & cooked to perfection. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared & beautifully presented. Jaun was an incredible waiter!
Lima wants to transport you. The room hums. The music is loud. The glasses feel like they are vibrating. There is a one man show, traditional Peruvian music, & warm lights. It is all carefully staged to get you in the mood before you even open the menu.
We went all in. Cocktails, starters, mains.
The octopus on olive purée is genuinely good. Salty, smooth, clean. The olive brings everything together & actually feels thought through. The chicken starter, on the other hand, is just there. A decent portion. Safe flavors. Nothing that takes a risk. The kind of dish that feels like it exists to fill space on the menu.
The cocktails are solid. Balanced, clean, well executed.
For the main, I had the pork chicharrones. A big, colorful plate. The real star is the onion salad. Sharp & limey. The pork tastes good, but the cooking could be tighter. The fries feel like filler. I would trade them for more vegetables without hesitation. It is heavy. You will leave full.
My partner had the rice with shrimp & calamari. It is good. Straightforward. No ambition. No disaster. No surprises.
Lima is a good place. Three stars. The prices suggest something bolder than what shows up on the plate. I was not disappointed. I was not impressed. But I was full. Sometimes that is the whole story.
I got the grilled chicken, the best o think I've ever tasted in my life. The waitress was more worried about her boyfriend but overall the food was super delicious & the Peruvian soda 100% the best non alcoholic drink out there.
Don't plan on leaving fast, this is a nice & easy place.
Great athmosphere & top of the line Peruvian food. Had the classic Lomo Saltado & Alfajores, would come back anyday!
Our first experience of Peruvian food & it was amazing! Juliana helped us having a great experience at their restaurant. Highly recommend!
