Having traveled part of the globe to demonstrate the richness of our culture and our traditions, the idea of creating Sagamité was born from the desire to make known our beautiful culture at home in Wendake.

The Sagamité Restaurant in Wendake was founded in 1999 and since then, we have been welcoming local, regional and worldwide customers curious to discover our culture through a gastronomic experience. The name of the restaurant testifies to this by its name; for the Wendat, Sagamité was at the heart of our diet. It is a soup-meal enriched with game where we find the famous “Three Sisters”: squash, corn and red beans, that we cultivate.

Since July 2019, the Sagamité Vieux-Québec restaurant has been introducing First Nations gastronomy to visitors to the historic district of Québec.

The Sagamité restaurant has traced the path of Aboriginal gastronomy, which we have demystified over time thanks to game. It is an establishment of choice for a clientele curious to live a gourmet and cultural experience at the same time.

The Saga Nomade Food Truck can be found all around Québec City and is also available for private events. Our specialties include our Signature poutine and our Elk burger. This is street food with an indigenous twist!

Le restaurant est incroyable, le personnel est vraiment adorable, nous avons été très bien servi. La nourriture est vraiment extraordinaire, nous avons prit le menu avec la potence avec de la viande de wapiti de cerf & de bison, la façon de cuire avec les grandes flammes est toujours superbe à revoir & je ne m'en lasse jamais. Immersion dans le monde savoureusement culinaire du restaurant Sagamité. Une première pour ma blonde. 😊. Pour ma part, une troisième fois. C'était SPLENDIDE. 👌😍. Magnifique potence aux 3 viandes. Cerf, wapiti & bison accompagné de sauces mayonnaises dont une aux cèpes totalement surprenante. & quoi de mieux que de terminer le repas avec une crème brûlée au coureur des bois fumée au smoker à la saveur d'érable & du bison de la potence. TOTALEMENT DÉCADENT. La touche qui fait LA différence entre toutes les crèmes brûlées. Je les conseillent très fortement.

Ça été simplement une soirée incroyable, nous avons opté pour la potence vraiment stupéfiant tout était parfait, succulent.

Un accueil chaleureux & que dire du service client très sympathique.

Très belle expérience! La potence est délicieuse, en plus d'être originale. La soupe traditionnelle & la tarte à l'érable complètent le tout. & il y avait plein d'autres choses que nous voulions goûter sur la carte! À tester sans aucun doute !

Très belle découverte pour nous. Nous avons pris la potence aux 3 gibiers (cerf, wapiti & bison), la cuisson était parfaite, la viande gouteuse & tendre, & le tout avec un excellent service !

C'est la 3e fois que nous visitons ce restaurant & la qualité ne se dément pas. Très bon service, ambiance chaleureuse, la nourriture est exquise. Je recommande la potence, mais sincèrement tout est bon!
