Having traveled part of the globe to demonstrate the richness of our culture and our traditions, the idea of creating Sagamité was born from the desire to make known our beautiful culture at home in Wendake.

The Sagamité Restaurant in Wendake was founded in 1999 and since then, we have been welcoming local, regional and worldwide customers curious to discover our culture through a gastronomic experience. The name of the restaurant testifies to this by its name; for the Wendat, Sagamité was at the heart of our diet. It is a soup-meal enriched with game where we find the famous “Three Sisters”: squash, corn and red beans, that we cultivate.

Since July 2019, the Sagamité Vieux-Québec restaurant has been introducing First Nations gastronomy to visitors to the historic district of Québec.

The Sagamité restaurant has traced the path of Aboriginal gastronomy, which we have demystified over time thanks to game. It is an establishment of choice for a clientele curious to live a gourmet and cultural experience at the same time.

The Saga Nomade Food Truck can be found all around Québec City and is also available for private events. Our specialties include our Signature poutine and our Elk burger. This is street food with an indigenous twist!

Le resto était assez tranquille & j'y étais seule, en voyage d'affaires. J'ai choisi le mi-cuit de cerf & c'était vraiment délicieux. La portion est plutôt généreuse & je n'ai pas pu profiter d'un dessert 🤷🏻‍♀️😁 Cependant, un mocktail tout à fait délicieux à saveur de limonade était une alternative sans-alcool parfaite. J'y suis allée sur les recommandations de qqn qui avait beaucoup aimé. Je vous le recommande à mon tour.

Un gros wow sur toute la ligne! C'était ma première fois au Sagamité & j'ai franchement adoré! La nourriture est goûteuse & les portions tellement généreuses. Notre serveuse Caroline a donné un excellent service également. Je recommande!

Our family visited for dinner on our last night in Quebec City & had the best experience. The yatista was AMAZING!!! & maple pie was something new for us all - delicious.
The service & atmosphere were perfect. Highly recommend

We stay in Old Quebec, we went to Sagamite restaurant for Breakfast, & IT WAS amazing, the eggs Benedict are to die for, the regular breakfast had fruit, potatoes, meat, toast & coffee, our hotel voucher was included for regular breakfast & you can upgrade for an extra fee, worth every penny, the service was great, the food was hot well prepared, ambiance was excellent, our coffee cups always full, server was attentive & friendly. Recommend 200%, we'll come on our next visit. Thank you so much
