Having traveled part of the globe to demonstrate the richness of our culture and our traditions, the idea of creating Sagamité was born from the desire to make known our beautiful culture at home in Wendake.

The Sagamité Restaurant in Wendake was founded in 1999 and since then, we have been welcoming local, regional and worldwide customers curious to discover our culture through a gastronomic experience. The name of the restaurant testifies to this by its name; for the Wendat, Sagamité was at the heart of our diet. It is a soup-meal enriched with game where we find the famous “Three Sisters”: squash, corn and red beans, that we cultivate.

Since July 2019, the Sagamité Vieux-Québec restaurant has been introducing First Nations gastronomy to visitors to the historic district of Québec.

The Sagamité restaurant has traced the path of Aboriginal gastronomy, which we have demystified over time thanks to game. It is an establishment of choice for a clientele curious to live a gourmet and cultural experience at the same time.

The Saga Nomade Food Truck can be found all around Québec City and is also available for private events. Our specialties include our Signature poutine and our Elk burger. This is street food with an indigenous twist!

Nourriture excellente MAIS le poisson (doré) n'était pas du tout assaisonné. Je suggère de l'accompagné d'une sauce hollandaise. Elle relèverait le goût du poisson. Pour les viandes (mi-cuit de cerf & filet mignon de boeuf), elles étaient tout simplement EXCELLENTES. C'est vraiment un lieu à recommander. La prochaine fois, nous essaierons le bison.

Très bel endroit, excellent repas, service impeccable. C'est une expérience qu'on ne retrouve nulle part ailleurs, entre autre, la potence qui permet de gouter à des viandes de bois telles que bison, wapiti, & cerf. Nous le recommandons, vous ne serez pas déçus.

Nourriture des plus exquises. La viande gibier est une magnifique expérience en soi ! Service impeccable avec une extrême gentillesse de toute l'équipe malgré un fort achalandage ! Très belle carte des vins à un prix raisonnable ! Enfin, l'ambiance à l'intérieur du restaurant invite à y retourner souvent !
