Having traveled part of the globe to demonstrate the richness of our culture and our traditions, the idea of creating Sagamité was born from the desire to make known our beautiful culture at home in Wendake.

The Sagamité Restaurant in Wendake was founded in 1999 and since then, we have been welcoming local, regional and worldwide customers curious to discover our culture through a gastronomic experience. The name of the restaurant testifies to this by its name; for the Wendat, Sagamité was at the heart of our diet. It is a soup-meal enriched with game where we find the famous “Three Sisters”: squash, corn and red beans, that we cultivate.

Since July 2019, the Sagamité Vieux-Québec restaurant has been introducing First Nations gastronomy to visitors to the historic district of Québec.

The Sagamité restaurant has traced the path of Aboriginal gastronomy, which we have demystified over time thanks to game. It is an establishment of choice for a clientele curious to live a gourmet and cultural experience at the same time.

The Saga Nomade Food Truck can be found all around Québec City and is also available for private events. Our specialties include our Signature poutine and our Elk burger. This is street food with an indigenous twist!

Des plats succulents avec une présentation soignée & des ingrédients de qualité. Service agréable mets un peu lent ce jour-là dans un beau décor. Nous y retournerons éventuellement.

My partner & I decided to eat here for our anniversary seeing that the food is indigenous inspired. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a great & chill atmosphere. Our server was super friendly & very helpful with the menu & any questions we had.

We ordered the tartare & the 5 course meal. Wow. The food was amazing. It was very filling & flavorful. I loved the salad that had a sweet apple sauce dressing. We also loved the elk & deer.

Definitely my top favorite places to go.

Nous sommes allés souper deux couples d'amis avec nos enfants. Nous étions 10. Nous avions réservés (car un soir de relâche).
Super belle table, super service. Notre serveur était expérimenté & connaissait également les vins. Nous avons choisi tous des plats différents. Les assiettes étaient superbes & excellentes. Je suis allergique à l'ail, oignons, ciboulette & je n'ai eu aucune inquiétude. Les plats sont frais & pas préparer à l'avance ce qui est maintenant rare. La viande de gibier est excellent & nos enfants se sont régalés.
Je recommande La Potence aux 3 gibiers 👌

Lovely evening at this restaurant. Lots of choice, & a chance to try some meats that we don't normally see. Unlike other reviewers, I was not a fan of the maple pie, but the terrines (elk & duck) were delicious.

Ristorante che sembra essere specializzato in carni ma alla fine scopri che la disponibilità di alcuni tagli è limitata, che la cottura anziché al sangue è media (se mi chiedi e ti rispondo al sangue perché portarla media?) che i pesi dei tagli non sono conformi (la tomohawk dovrebbe essere 40oz ma se era 20 è tanto). Il tutto a prezzi decisamente elevati.

Ok che sei in una città turistica ma 80euro (120$cad) per un controfiletto di 250gr un paio di calici di vino e un dolce diviso in 2 mi sembra uno sproposito.
