Having traveled part of the globe to demonstrate the richness of our culture and our traditions, the idea of creating Sagamité was born from the desire to make known our beautiful culture at home in Wendake.

The Sagamité Restaurant in Wendake was founded in 1999 and since then, we have been welcoming local, regional and worldwide customers curious to discover our culture through a gastronomic experience. The name of the restaurant testifies to this by its name; for the Wendat, Sagamité was at the heart of our diet. It is a soup-meal enriched with game where we find the famous “Three Sisters”: squash, corn and red beans, that we cultivate.

Since July 2019, the Sagamité Vieux-Québec restaurant has been introducing First Nations gastronomy to visitors to the historic district of Québec.

The Sagamité restaurant has traced the path of Aboriginal gastronomy, which we have demystified over time thanks to game. It is an establishment of choice for a clientele curious to live a gourmet and cultural experience at the same time.

The Saga Nomade Food Truck can be found all around Québec City and is also available for private events. Our specialties include our Signature poutine and our Elk burger. This is street food with an indigenous twist!

Correct sans plus, le service n'était pas mauvais mais rien d'exceptionnel. La nourriture est bonne mais on s'attend a plus au vue du prix , ça fait pas mal attrape touriste au final. Il y a seulement l'entrée que j'ai vraiment aimée au final. Je ne crois pas y retourner.

This was such a lovely place to stop for dinner! The waiter was very informative & helped me pick a very interesting meal that included deer, elk & Buffalo meat, all of which was delicious. The sides were thoughtfully prepared too, & the dessert was delicious. I also felt that everything was very reasonably priced for the quality, though I did choose a more expensive meal.

Mein Salat war sehr „speziell" ... schmeckte nicht frisch (zu lange im Plastkbeutel gelassen), zerbröselte süsse Cookies obendrauf (es schmeckte so in etwa), wenig und süsse Sauce. Ich sagte auf Nachfrage des Kellners, dass ich den Salat nicht mochte. Er meinte: ist halt einfach ein Salat. Das Fleisch (Filet) war dann prima. Die Beilagen lieblos. Alles in allem sehr enttäuschend. Vielleicht sollte man nur Fleisch essen dort?

Nous avons brunché un dimanche dans ce restaurant ! L'accueil était chaleureux malgré que le serveur soit seul pour toute la salle. Le repas était très bon, je recommande l'assiette du chasseur ! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

We shared the three antlers dining experience & were blown away. Amazing deal & dining experience, don't know how they manage to offer so much, for so little in such a great part of town. Food & service were both outstanding.
