We happened on to Sagamite looking for a light lunch. It was it busy & we were quickly seated. Wow, the decor is spectacular with totem poles, canoe & some great paintings. It focuses of food from the First Nation. We shared the appetizer of pastry with venison & elk. It was very good with a tasty sauce. A unique & special restaurant.

Loved the indigenous slant to the menu. We had elk terrine & potted duck confit with toast, & the salad with duck confit - they were very similar to similar dishes we'd had in the Dordogne Valley in France. The venison steak & the deer & elk medallions were delicious, & the staff were uniformly kind & knowledgeable.

Nous avons soupé pour la première fois chez Sagamité & nous avons adoré ! Notre serveuse était très gentille & nous a bien conseillé ! Nous avons pris en entrée la soupe Sagamité (très bonne) & ensuite le Yatista avec les 3 viandes (cerf, wapiti & bison), excellent aussi :)

I was a big hesitant to try the exotic meat due to poor experiences in the past but I am very happy that i tried these meats again. The meat was delicious as it didn't have any of the gaminess. I would definitely recommend this place. All of the wait staff were very helpful, patient, & friendly. Nadia was amazing.

Good but way over priced except for the kids meals. This restaurant has the best kids meals I have ever seen. Great value.

Father & 14 yr old son for dinner & we were blown away by this place, travelling through Canada coast to coast from Manchester England. This restraunt is a highlight of the trip & I would travel from Vancouver to eat here (I did) The menu was our first taste of Bison - heavenly but our fave was the Deer. A tip for med/rare lovers - don't delay in removing from the fire. This was such a positive experience meeting First Nation people & how friendly & funny our host was & examplary knowledge of the food & service so much so that next summer my boy has asked to return to visit more native Canadian 1st nations people as a specific trip If your in Quebec this is a must visit dining experience

Un restaurant natif typique, vous pourrez découvrir des plats originaux avec des viandes rares (Originale, Wapiti, Cerf) & des poissons tout autant (Doré). Le serveur est au top, nous a fourni les explications dont on avait besoin & est très sympathique. Je recommande ce restaurant si vous souhaitez vous dépayse

Le plat était excellent ! J'ai pris le filet doré. Je ne mange pas souvent de poisson mais celui ci était exquis. L'accompagnement était aussi très original & excellent. Notre serveur a été très agréable & souriant. Il nous a apporté de nombreuses précisions & anecdotes, dans la bonne humeur & le rire. Je recommande !
