Having traveled part of the globe to demonstrate the richness of our culture and our traditions, the idea of creating Sagamité was born from the desire to make known our beautiful culture at home in Wendake.

The Sagamité Restaurant in Wendake was founded in 1999 and since then, we have been welcoming local, regional and worldwide customers curious to discover our culture through a gastronomic experience. The name of the restaurant testifies to this by its name; for the Wendat, Sagamité was at the heart of our diet. It is a soup-meal enriched with game where we find the famous “Three Sisters”: squash, corn and red beans, that we cultivate.

Since July 2019, the Sagamité Vieux-Québec restaurant has been introducing First Nations gastronomy to visitors to the historic district of Québec.

The Sagamité restaurant has traced the path of Aboriginal gastronomy, which we have demystified over time thanks to game. It is an establishment of choice for a clientele curious to live a gourmet and cultural experience at the same time.

The Saga Nomade Food Truck can be found all around Québec City and is also available for private events. Our specialties include our Signature poutine and our Elk burger. This is street food with an indigenous twist!

A fantastic authentic restaurant with native American recipes & great service. We dined here couple of days ago & really enjoyed the specialties which is the meat on a fire burned with Brandy. They forgot was good & the scallops were good as well. Highly recommended. We will return to this place again for sure

I had a lovely meal here following a long cold day. I suggest trying the Yatista/Potence meals. They are incredible & the presentation is wonderful. Also, the maple pie was phenomenal.

Coup de coeur & note parfaite pour la qualité remarquable du petit déjeuner au restaurant Sagamité...! Nous sommes sortis des sentiers battus en essayant deux de leurs spécialités :'Le bison fumé' & 'Le chasseur'. Mention spéciale pour le bacon de sanglier (excellent) & la saucisse de gibier. Nous avons aussi beaucoup aimé les chaudes rôties de pain bannique servies avec leur beurre de pomme maison (miam). Les portions sont généreuses & le café & le thé ont été réchauffés sans compter & avec beaucoup de gentillesse par notre serveur, qui à une heure bien matinale, s'est montré tout aussi aussi chaleureux que professionnel. Nous allons certainement y retourner à notre prochain passage à Québec.
