Afficher toutcrepe(108) crêpe(56) breakfast(46) soup(29) recommend(25) onion soup(20) french(19) sweet(16) dejeuner(16) egg(16) highly recommend(15) bretonne(14)Rather intimate & quaint, as expected from name, this place has good crepes at fair prices, especially the chef special. If you get savory, I suggest the buckwheat, as the somewhat sweet farina doesn't quite fit. Surprisingly for tourist row, most patrons seem to be speaking French, & waiters, though quite competent, also seemed to prefer it- which is what I look for in Oder to hear & practice a bit.
Look no further. This is the one you are searching for! My family loved the savory (ham & cheese) & the sweet (banana & nutella) crepes. The french onion & split pea soup was also splendid. Also the coffee & hot chocolate (chocolat chaude) were terrific. The prices were fair. The ambiance is local & authentic. We tried a lot of local cuisine, & this was tops.
Hands down best french onion soup I had in Quebec. Quaint restaurant, nice little patio, staff were lovely
We've eaten here 6-7 times in 2.5 years, every time we visit QC. We have the same beautiful server sweet accommodating us & our food allergies in English/French, with fast, courteous service. As a celiac, they serve me great food with no problem & I appreciate it because the crepes are delicious here. You will be full, make sure you get their homemade whipped sweet yogurt topping, & the crispy thin sliced, generous serving of bacon.
Stumbled in here on a very cold morning. Although I'm certain that English could be spoken, I decided to make all suffer through my horrible French. I got everything I ordered, plus coffee, which I didn't THINK I ordered, (because I really don't like coffee). Turns out I DO like it, when it's done well. It would be a great end to the review if that was the highlight of the visit, but the food (eggs, sausage, toast, boring choices, I know) was absolutely stellar, & the service was one of many high points of our visit. An absolute don't miss stop!
We had the Western & Blueberry Crepes & they were the best French crepes in the city. Staff was very friendly & it felt like a family owned restaurant.
Had supper before catching my train. Gabriel amazing server got my food so fast so I wouldn't be late. Everything perfect! Had real french onion soup & crepes. Thank you Gabriel & kitchen!
