Ça déja été mon restaurant préféré du vendredi midi avec mes collèges du CHUL. J'ai été déçu de mon souper.Le menu affichait 2 pages pour le repas & 20 pages pour les vins . C'est bien pour des gens qui rechechent une expérience gastronomique. Il pourrait avoir des améliorations comme avoir une table d'hôte avec le menu à la carte. Les prix sont chers. Pour ma part je ne retournerai pas au bistango

Cuisine trop inventive! Peu savoureux concernant le plat principal ( boudin & penne aux homards). La mise-en-bouche par contre délicieuse (samoussa). Excellente cave à vins

Il y avait 2 plats de Bar ce soir-là.On m'a servi le mauvais plat. Difficile pour le client de savoir lequel on nous sert. On me l'a dit au milieu du repas alors que nous avions entamé nos assiettes. Difficile à comprendre comment le personnel ne s'en est pas rendu compte au moment de servir. De plus, il n'y avait aucun facteur wow pour cette assiette. Idem pour le repas de ma conjointe (penne au homard). Il y avait très peu de homard & une boîte complète de penne. Très cher pour peu de goût dans l'assiette. Encore là, pas de facteur wow. On ne retournera plus à ce restaurant.

I booked a reservation this evening because I never tried a Michelin Star Resturant, & frankly, I never will again. $22 for a single scallop; obnoxious. The risotto that accompanied it was grainy & undercooked. (I detest a restaurant that gives an odd number of any appitizer for an even nu1mber if people....) Could have got a lb of scallops at the fish market for that price. The scallop itself was delicious, however. The Foie gras was probably the best portion & best tasting part of the meal for the price. I was filled & satisfied. The house bread was good, but the butter could have been slightly warmed to allow for easy spreading. I had two orders because, well, you get hungry after sharing a single scallop. The waitress was very nice, helpful, & polite, she's the real deal. Now, we were all excited for the beef tenderloin (which we were told was a 6-7oz Filet Mignon). However, the Filet is a part of the tenderloin, & a tenderloin is not necessarily the Filet (which it wasn't). 4 small strips of choice cut steak (did you think you would get Prime for $56?) had a very flavorless yet tender appeal. After adding a heavy helping of salt to amplify the flavor, my wife asked me, "Do you think they have A1 steak sauce?" The potato coquette that accompanied the steak was good. I liked it, but the wife said hers was undercooked on the inside. The yellowish, greenish paste/sauce that was included on the plate reminded me of black licorice & was very unappealing to us both. The two glasses of Pinot Noir were fabulous! Helped to wash out the taste of the meal. The presentation of the meal was nice. For almost $250 after tax & tip, however, write this post from McDonald's parking lot as we finish our frys...

Superbe expérience au Bistango, 3ème fois que j'y vais & le menu 4 services (renouvelé à chaque saison) est toujours au top niveau: qualité du service, présentation des plats & plaisir gustatif garantis! Les cocktails, entrées, plats & soupes du moment exquis. La cerise sur la gâteau = les merveilleux desserts de Charlotte la chef pâtissière.
