Quel bel endroit ! Rivière-du-Loup est une ville magnifique du Bas-Saint-Laurent & ce restaurant nous a permis un arrêt gastronomique vraiment plaisant en famille! Tables confortables, excellente nourriture, service impeccable . Resto annexé à l'hôtel donc parfait pour un court séjour ! Très peu dispendieux pour la qualité de l'endroit ! Je recommande !

Our dining experience was top-notch. From the greeting by the hostess to the seating at the table. Our server was lovely & we conversed in both French & English. She was attentive to our selections & knew the right moments to approach the table to check in & follow-up.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was comfortable, & not pretentious. It has the elegance of finer dining, a place to dress up & go out for a nice date or a business meeting. It also has an atmosphere where friends & colleagues can get together to enjoy drinks, laughs & sharing plates. We felt relaxed there.

It has been some time since a meal has stood out for me. The dishes at Boréal Univers Gourmand did just that. The escargot in the wild mushroom cream sauce severed on leeks & sunflower seeds top with twizzled potato sticks was perfection. This was followed up by the squash risotto, again with a local mushroom sauce & topped with hollandaise sauce & fresh parmesan cheese. I cleaned the plate. I am typically a berry & citrus dessert lover, however, I chose the chocolate mousse. The mousse was served inside a pyramid cake that was easy to break open & provided that juxtaposition of the creamy mousse to the cookie like cake structure incasing it. The plate was decorated with shaved chocolate & syrup dollops & syrup drizzled on the cake. Devine!

We were on a bit of a road trip vacation. We have visited Quebec many times but never stopped long in Riviere du Loup. L'Hotel Univers & Boréal Univers Gourmand will now be a destination for us. Pin it & make it yours as well. You won't regret it.

Bon restaurant ! Le service est chaleureux, le personnel toujours souriant. La nourriture est délicieuse & l'endroit est propre & accueillant. Une belle adresse à Rivière-du-Loup !

This restaurant is in a hotel in Rivière Du Loup. Stopped by here for a quick lunch on a road trip. Very nice decor & spacious with a frets view into the very large & well equipped kitchen, including a huge over the coals grill which is suspended by massive chains. Service was pretty good in terms of staff, food took sure a long time to arrive. Reasonable prices & good quality food. Good burger. Fries were great tasting but could have been fresher. Would try it again.

Je n'y vais pas souvent, mais je trouve que c'est une des meilleures tables de Rivière-du-Loup. Nous avons eu droit à un service bien au-dessus de nos attentes. Sympathique, rapide, de bons conseils.

Vraiment une belle sortie à faire à Riviere-du-loup! Nous avons débuté avec la planche de fromage!! Génial avec son pain brioché sur le grill! Osez manger le contre-filet 20oz à deux!! Un délice!! Nous avons accompagné le tout d'une belle bouteille de leur carte des vins assez bien garnie. Plusieurs mangeaient des burgers & malgré qu'ils avaient l'air bons, laissez vous tenter par le tartare de boeuf, lequel nous avons pu déguster en amuse-gueule, en attendant notre fameux steak ! Bravo aux chefs!
