We went to Boreal for my birthday supper & as usual it was an amazing supper & the waitress was super great. We spent over 200$ with a generous tip for the four of us which is fine with us because it's expected with the quality of food. I personally have mobility issues & walk very slow. We were parked in the handicapped parking space & as we were about to pull away a waitress named Veronique came to our truck & very ignorantly asked if we paid our bill. I looked at her & said yes & my husband offered to show her our receipt & she refused to look at it. She said the reason is because we left "quickly" which is false, I walk like a snail with my mobility issues & we waited 5 minutes after we paid to leave because I was finishing my drink. I will never drive all the way here from New Brunswick to come here again (which we did for my birthday supper) I am disgusted by the way she treated us. I am not a thief & I atleast want the same respect as I give. Or were my tattoos the problem?

On avait réservé une chambre à l'hôtel Universel qui est adjacent au resto.Nous avons adoré nos plats! Tout était délicieux! Service impeccable,& belle ambiance!👌dommage qu'il soit situé loin de Montréal...😟je parlerai de ce resto à tous mes amis!👏🏼

Vraiment une belle sortie à faire à Riviere-du-loup! Nous avons débuté avec la planche de fromage!! Génial avec son pain brioché sur le grill! Osez manger le contre-filet 20oz à deux!! Un délice!! Nous avons accompagné le tout d'une belle bouteille de leur carte des vins assez bien garnie. Plusieurs mangeaient des burgers & malgré qu'ils avaient l'air bons, laissez vous tenter par le tartare de boeuf, lequel nous avons pu déguster en amuse-gueule, en attendant notre fameux steak ! Bravo aux chefs!

Le service était excellent par la serveuse Annie Marcelle. La chaudrée de fruits de mer & le Général Tao étaient très bons. Je recommande ce restaurant.
