Nous avons mangé comme des rois & des reines & le service était exceptionnel! Merci encore, c'était notre première fois à la Buvette Scott & certainement pas la dernière.
This is one of those restaurants where you know going into it that it's going to be an AMAZING overall experience. We sat at the bar, which I highly recommend. I feel like it gave a more personalized, intimate experience! They really made us feel like we were dining with an old friend! Our server/bartender was amazing!! He paired wine suggestions perfectly with the various things we ordered, & he gave us a glass of this DELICIOUS wine that he went & got specially for us from their wine storage. They were also playing vinyl & having so much fun putting on different records, adding even more to the cool, fun, but cozy atmosphere. We ordered a bunch of different things, & everything was so well-crafted & perfectly executed. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the beef tartare. Definitely the best I've ever had. It was so tempting to try everything on the menu - & we almost did! This truly wasn't just *any* restaurant. This was an EXPERIENCE & one of the best ones at that. Buvette Scott, I will be back!!!

We had an incredible meal/experience at Buvette Scott, & it was a true highlight of our trip to Québec. Each plate (we had many!) was delicious & beautifully presented. The servers are all clearly passionate about both the food & wine, & were all incredibly friendly as well. The small space & intimate, casual atmosphere belies the quality & attention to detail in each dish. We feel fortunate to have stumbled upon it & implore anyone visiting Québec not to miss out on the experience.
Vincent was nice, helpful, informative, & answered all of our questions about the food, music, & favorite local places. Everyone at Buvette Scott was friendly. It was an intimate atmosphere with great music. We loved sitting at the bar & watching the food come together. The food was all so fresh & everything was delicious. We are so glad we got in! Thank you. Would highly recommend!

This was one of the most memorable dining experiences of my life. The coziness! The service! The craftsmanship! I've never felt so taken care of & cared about at a restaurant before. You can tell how much the folks who work there truly CARE about what they do. The food & wine were out of this world. I would walk 500 miles & I would walk 500 more just to be the girl who walks 500 miles to fall down at Buvette Scott's door.
Un gros coup de coeur samedi le 17 février au soir pour la Buvette Scott. Service courtois & enjoué, ambiance charmante dans ce petit resto près de la rue St-Jean qui n'a rien à lui envier. Les plats sont renversants de saveurs. Le propriétaire les décrit avec nuances & la composition des plats est plus que raffinée. Elle est exceptionnelle. Les sauces divines. Les accords des saveurs une découverte. Plats de pétoncles, joues de boeuf, etc tout est à partager pour une expérience inouie. Les grandes artères peuvent se rhabiller. La Buvette Scott sera un rendez vous à ne pas manquer. Déjà dans l'entrée un groupe en provenance de Montréal pour goûter à qui j'ai aiguiser les papilles gustatives tellement nous avons été sous le charme des atouts de ce restaurant.
The food was an inspiring blend of Quebecois produce masterfully crafted into alternative but familiar dishes. My girlfriend & I could not help but order the whole menu as each plate effortlessly beckoned the next few dishes. The experience culminated into the last few dishes which were gnocchi & beef cheek, & the flavors tied the whole dinner together.
Staff were outstanding & incredibly knowledgeable about their food & especially their wines. They are in good spirits & keep you laughing through the evening. Buvette Scott can easily go toe to toe with what you think is the best.
