From the moment we arrived, the service was warm & friendly. we had an array of dishes that were suggested but not pushed onto us, & we were so pleased with each & every one, from the extremely fresh sea urchin to the buttery pike, perfectly charred cabbage, scallops, focaccia, & pumpkin tart with ice cream… everything was honestly exceptional. I even made a point to practice my French & both of our servers were extremely kind, patient, & charming. It was a fabulous experience that we will remember for a long time. Merci beaucoup!
- MUST try the stracciatella beet if available. It's a creamy sweet vegetable dish - stunning & wowing dish.
- Never tried anything like the duck ham, bold & flavourful
- The oysters were the only thing I thought was okay nothing special but my husband liked it
- arctic char has a surprisingly creamy texture but great taste
- dessert was delicious & well balanced!
Recommended dishes: stracciatella beet, duck ham
Thought the price was good & worth the experience.
The ambience was cozy & very comfortable - my favourite atmosphere in QC so far. The server was easygoing & super pleasant to dine with.
10/10 most recommended QC restaurant
My wife & I spent 4 nights in Quebec City this November & wanted to check out some nicer restaurants. We saw that this place was recommended widely online & also received a Bib Gourmand recognition from Michelin. The potato & tuna dish, lamb ravioli, & Jerusalem artichoke dishes were our favorite. This place is super cute & romantic & we would return again if we find ourselves back!

Reservations a must only 27 seats in entire restaurant. Superb food of' Small Dishes' to share so order more of one dish to enjoy the food choices!
This place is cozy, nostalgic & full of heart. The staff here added to the charm - they were genuinely welcoming & took the time to walk us through the menu. They made thoughtful recommendations around my food allergies & explained how ingredients were sourced. I could tell that they really knew (& loved) the food that they were serving.
We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes that we ordered, & the oysters were the best I've had years. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Fabulous diner & a must for those who like a relaxing atmosphere with incredible food. The flavours were fantastic & our waitress suggested excellent dishes to try. The tomato with taragon, swordfish with broccoli & yellow beans, Gnudi di ricotta & zucchini flower dishes were fantastic! She was also really knowledgeable about wines & don't be afraid to let her know what you like. We will certainly be back when we return to Quebec City!
Sadly, Buvette Scott was a miss for us. We came in for an 8:30 dinner & ordered the swordfish, lobster, gnudi, & morel mushroom/duck egg dish. While our server was WONDERFUL & served/explained all our dishes in detail & provided us with excellent wine, many of the dishes fell short in our opinion for the price compared to some of the other places we ate at while in town. The swordfish was served very rare, which I have always been taught is a'no no' while working in fine dining for over a decade (I have been out of the service industry for 15 years, so I do realize things change, but the dish took me off guard). I enjoyed the swordfish, my husband did not.The mushroom/duck egg dish was wonderful, no complaints there. The lobster dish was a MAJOR letdown; it was 3 potatoes covered in buerre blanc sauce with 4 TINY pieces of cold lobster on top. It should be sold as a potato dish, NOT a lobster dish. The cold lobster was odd with the hot potatoes & sauce. The gnudi had a wonderful texture & the pasta part was a showstopper, BUT the sauce tasted just like chef boyardee. It took me back to my childhood, but not in a good way! Overall, I just don't understand the rave reviews for the food here. Maybe we just hit an off night/week, but I would tell a visitor to Quebec City to go elsewhere if they only have a few nights.
Food was good with fresh ingredients, but we were quite hungry after ordering the 4 plates recommended. Waited about 30 mins between each plate, which would've been okay if plates were more filling. Menu is small, as were the dishes, & modifications they can make for dietary restrictions was limited.
The food was exceptional, & our lovely waitress recommended ordering half the cart, which seemed plentiful for four people. However, I feel ordering individual dishes would have been better, as some items, like the fish, were difficult to share in such small portions. While the food, ambiance, & service were wonderful, the sharing option isn't ideal for a group of four. Even nearby diners mentioned feeling hungry. It's sad to leave with a $358 bill & still feel hungry. This option might work better for smaller groups or individual orders. But thank you for the lovely evening
