Stumbled upon this resto by chance, one of our best if not THE best spot to have a meal & enjoy some good wine. Extense menú for wine & cider. The service was great! Was nice to find some one that spoke Spanish too & made an effort to make us feel home. Def comming back next time in Quebec! 👏🏻
Had an amazing meal; our server was extremely knowledgeable & also friendly; the atmosphere was so cozy.
Our server was so good at helping us navigate the menu & the wine pairings - he was great at taking our (not very knowledgeable) input about our likes & dislikes & putting them into a cohesive & absolutely delicious meal. I've never had a wine pairing go SO perfectly & specifically with the food like this.
You also really got the sense that the front & back of house all got along, which only added to the great vibes inside. It was a really cheery & fun atmosphere.
AMAZING. A must! The experience at Buvette Scott was unparalleled. From the moment we entered, they made my husband & me feel so welcomed & like such honored guests. We also had our baby in tow & they were so sweet making accommodations. The food & wine selection were outstanding, the presentation was beautiful, & our server & the owner went above & beyond to make our night special. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Are a delicious dinner here with fresh seasonal ingredients expertly prepared. Had a great bottle of wine expertly selected by our server. Best meal in Quebec City. Intimate atmosphere - seemed to have many locals.
We were disappointed with our experience. The atmosphere felt hectic & disorganized, & the service was inconsistent throughout the meal. There were very long gaps between courses & even between items we ordered together, which made the dining experience feel drawn out & uncoordinated.
We've dined at many Michelin-recommended restaurants, & we're accustomed to attentive, accommodating service. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience here. We were dining with our eight-year-old & politely asked if they could serve her plain pasta. Since pasta was already on the menu (just with sauce), we didn't think it was an unreasonable request. Rather than simply saying no, the staff rudely scoffed at the request, which made us feel unwelcome.
Service remained inattentive throughout the evening. After ordering a bottle of wine, no one came back to refill our glasses, which was surprising for a restaurant positioning itself at a higher level. Combined with the long waits & inconsistent attention from staff, it made the meal feel far less polished than expected.
We understand that every restaurant has policies & kitchen limitations, but the dismissive attitude was unnecessary. Overall, the combination of inconsistent service, long waits, poor hospitality, & lack of attention to basic details left us disappointed.
Had the most amazing meal this weekend with my dad & sister for Father's Day & had Jules as our server. He was absolutely incredible, gave us custom wine recommendations for every dish we had, was so funny & delightful, & curated an entire menu for us. Had the most memorable meal that we've had all year, & couldn't thank Jules enough for providing such a great experience.
Late review. Had dinner at the bar over a year ago & it was lovely. Great to see chef(s) doing their thing from where I was sitting.. food was fresh, creative, well presented & accommodations were made for me as I'm vegetarian. Nice cozy atmosphere, good wine, kind gentleman waited on me at bar ;)
It's not often that I feel compelled to review restaurants, but we had such a great experience at this restaurant that I had to share! We were lucky to get a reservation for 4 of us. We had an absolutely incredible meal. I regret that we did not learn the name of our waiter because he was fabulous, guiding us through the menu, making helpful recommendations about how much to order so that we could share all of the plates. He also had excellent wine recommendations. The food was outstanding. We ordered lots of plates to share & loved them all! We were fighting for the last bite because the flavors were incredible. I highly recommend booking a reservation at Buvette Scott! Best meal of our trip.

Absolutely my favorite restaurant in Quebec City. The wine selection is perfectly curated, & our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the flavor profiles. We shared several items from the menu, which was seasonal & thoughtfully curated. The restaurant itself is quaint & charming-an exceptional dining experience overall.
