Our thanks to the neighborhood around rue Saint-Jean & rue Scott for supporting this little gem of a restaurant. The daily changing menu of small plates is varied & inventive. The staff know their extensive wine cellar & give guests excellent tasting choices to match the dishes. Pace is comfortable & not rushed. Reservations recommended as the locals clearly love this restaurant. & now, so do we.
Buvette Scott exemplifies the Artisanal Bistro. The creative dishes, probing beverage list & engaging staff really create a fabulous experience. The vinyl selections round out the vibe. We're visiting from Chicago & lament we don't have enough time for a return trip.

I loved it here. The service was friendly, the experience casual, the food upscale. 2/3 dishes I got was some of the best food I've ever had. The third dish (stuffed morels) was still delicious but a little too salty.
Brilliant! Carefully crafted dishes each with its unique flavour. We chose 4 dishes for two of us & were astounded with each dish. As well, the wine list was diverse & choices fit the food. Staff were friendly & wonderful. Ambience was great, cozy & comfortable. Book early as it was booked out 2 of the 3 nights we had available. Do not miss Buvette Scott!
Creative menu with amazing ingredients & flavours. Each ingredient was carefully balanced so that no flavour overpowered the dish. Great service & ambience. Staff were attentive & really helpful. Wines by the glass paired well with the plates. Even the non-alcoholic drinks were perfect palate refreshers that complimented the dishes. Stunning (but relaxed) experience.
Small but wonderful bistro featuring fresh & very flavorful dishes. Loved every bite of our meal. Started with 20 oysters, then focaccia, duck ham & olives for starters, & potato croquettes over crab bisque & papardelle with white duck sauce for mains. Excellent food, paired well with outstanding local draft beer, & all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

We went here for dinner to celebrate our one year anniversary. The food was delicious, we had probably half the menu & everything was so good. The scallop crudo was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The ambience & service was amazing. The staff was kind enough to let me practice my French while ordering. I would definitely recommend this place!
Plats imaginatifs exceptionnels: langue de boeuf, bouillon de chashu, champignons sauvages; tomate. palourde, céleri, cerise de terre; courgettes, huître gribiche, bottarga, caviar de hareng & frangipane d'orange cannelle & de gingembre. Bon choix de vin. J'irais à Québec juste pour ce restaurant.
Outstanding imaginative dishes: Beef tongue, chashu broth, wild mushrooms; tomato. clam, celery, ground cherry; zucchinis, oyster gribiche, bottarga, herring caviar & Ccannoli orange & ginger frangipane. Good selection of wine. I would go to Quebec City just for this restaurant.
