This is a true neighbourhood gem.

Upon arrival in Quebec, where we stayed for the first time, we were eager to move away from the very touristic old town. Google recommended the Saint Jean Baptiste area.

By coincidence we found this restaurant which received a Michelin Bib Gourmand. It's truly how we like an evening out. Great food, excellent wines & staff who love there job. The owner was keen to recommend us the wines.

If just all restaurants could be like this!

Durant mon road trip gastronomique avec mon conjoint cet été, nous nous sommes arrêtés à Québec & avons découvert la Buvette Scott, une recommandation Michelin « petit prix ».

Quelle belle découverte! Un petit resto intime avec une ambiance chaleureuse & un service attentionné.
Nous étions assis au bar & servis par Marine, qui connaissait parfaitement ses vins & nous a guidés avec beaucoup de passion.

Le menu est original & plein de belles surprises.
Coup de coeur absolu pour le tartare de veau un délice! ✨ Je recommande sans hésiter.

Strongly recommend their food, small portions but the flavor is HUGEEEE. The staff was so nice & we had great wine to go with what we ordered. One of the best local restaurants in Quebec.

Endroit convivial avec des plats raffinés mais pas tape à l'oeil.
Léo est toujours de bon conseil pour l'accompagnement mêt-vin.
Je recommande sans problème.
Si possible, installez-vous au bar.

Probably one of my favorite dinner experiences ever! Alexandra recommended some fantastic wines to pair with the food we ordered. Lovely location too!

So much for Michelin gourmand… Only the shrimp dish out of the three we tried was decent. The beef tartare had potential except for the chewy bits. The swordfish dish recommended by the staff was simply a disaster. The fish is not grilled nor seared with a real off putting texture. Finally the service also felt forced & disingenuous.

We had an excellent dinner here. Every plate was delicious. Great quality ingredients. Small restaurant, nice vibe. Very attentive service as well. Recommend highly.

Food was good with fresh ingredients, but we were quite hungry after ordering the 4 plates recommended. Waited about 30 mins between each plate, which would've been okay if plates were more filling. Menu is small, as were the dishes, & modifications they can make for dietary restrictions was limited.
