We were given a plain almond croissant that was terrible. It was dry & dense & flavorless. The almond texture was strange. I took two bites & threw the rest away. It was the worst croissant I've ever tasted. The pecan tart was better, but we agreed it was just ok. Not sure if it was an off day, or if it's just one of those Instagram places everyone says is good & really isn't, but we agreed it wasn't worth a redo.
Tried latte coffee with chocolate cake. Took a while to get our order & place to sit. Coffee was cold & hence not up to the mark. Had to return the cold coffee & waited a bit to get new one. Slightly better but not up to the mark. Didn't like the presentation of cake as it was very inconvenient to eat as tray was moving everywhere. Would say that the place is overrated. Looked like customers sit more for the vibes than food.
I got the raspberry chocolate pastry & the iced blueberry matcha latte. Both were so amazing & I had to go back the next day & try some other items! All of their pastries were very fresh & were full of flavor.
The pie is great & the chocolate almond croissant is very sweet & delicious. Really like this pie. The price is also reasonable
We ordered macarons, chocolate cake slice & a cappuccino style coffee. Although a bit pricy, but all tasted good. The chocolate cake was delicious in particular.
Traveling from Toronto, the pastries are okay compared to what we have had so far in Montreal & Quebec city. The chocolate croissant is too sweet & coffee is mid.. but the chai was pretty good!👍🏻 Service is .. not great. We would avoid this place for next day, they toss our pastries while handling politely to others when we observed.
They don't take Amex credit cards, luckily I had mobile wallet with a Visa. Macarons were bad, hot chocolate was ok.
great option for breakfast of evening coffee. Croissant's were good. hot chocolate was decent, could have been a little warm.
