One of our favourite places in Québec City. We came Chez Rioux & Pettigrew two years in a row to celebrate my husband's birthday. The first year, we did the blind menu (chef's choice), everything was amazing. This time, we ordered from the menu & once again everything was amazing! The food, the service & the ambiance are all delightful. A truly phenomenal experience. Reservations are highly recommended!

I am so grateful we were able to be seated without a reservation! We got the chef's tasting menu & enjoyed everything. Duck breast with black currant was my favorite dish. Perfectly cooked egg with mushroom was my second favorite. Excellent service, with many check-ins to ensure all was well. Highly recommended!

Menu du chef: Belle exécution des plats, très frais & bien balancé. Le pairing était par contre très faible & ne s'agençait pas particulièrement bien avec les services. Le dessert était beaucoup trop sucré, ce qui a donné une fin très lourde.

Definitely the best surprise we had during our trip... went there hoping to get a table last minute, ended up dining, booking for a second dinner, then again for lunch. Everything was beyond excellent, from service to food to location. Super friendly staff, & every single dish was showing how much love & attention a Chef is supposed to bring to their creations. The quality of the products was also very obvious, making each plate a "wow" moment. Price-wise, definitely worth it. Only small recommendation would be to avoid the cheese platter. It was a great selection, very well presented & tasty, but I'd rather keep "some room" to taste another creation from the kitchen. Notables: cranberry foam with wild rose on oysters, divine. Seared beef carpaccio was amazing. Torchon of Quebec duck foie gras marbled with La Perle Blanche black garlic to die for. If you are in Quebec city & do not have dinner chez Rioux & Pettigrew, you have not travelled right.

Nous avons eu une superbe expérience. Service impeccable & nourriture excellente. La formule expérience a vraiment été très intéressante. Le fait de laisser le chef choisir nos plats & de les découvrir au fils du service était vraiment plaisant. Nous avons découvert des plats qu'autrement nous n'aurions peut-être pas essayés & qui étaient excellents. Bref une belle découverte.

Love it so much! You can feel different level of taste in the food which also feels exactly the passion & love of the chef who prepared all these delicious meals for you! I brought my whole family in & we truly enjoyed everything in this restaurant, highly recommended! It was a terrific Thanksgiving meal yesterday!

There are almost no words.... we were three diners & enjoyed the chef's choice four course dinner. Each course was so well-prepared & so exquisite in complexity. We had a truly delightful experience. Thank you so much. Next time we are back in Quebec City, we may simply eat every dinner with you. Lovely service, too. So, so happy!

Absolutely incredible. Sit at the bar, order the tasting menu with wine pairings, & hopefully Jeremy is there to walk you through the experience. His knowledge of wine is exceptional. Never will he make you feel intimidated..... he genuinely wants you to understand the pairings & enjoy your meal. The restaurant itself is historical & very well thought out. Cheers to the chef & the entire staff. You have created an experience that is truly top notch. Thank you for a beautiful experience. -May & Matt

The perfect upscale gastropub. We had the chef's tasting menu with the wine pairing & it was excellent! Delightful flavours & generous portions, can't wait to return.

Amazing food. Amazing experience. Do the chefs tasting menu. You won't regret it. My wife & I have been here twice & it gets better each time. The service is also excellent. Last night the power went out due to tropical storm Debby & they somehow still pulled everything off. Awesome!
