AFFAMÉS D’HISTOIRE?

Le 160, rue Saint-Paul s’est toujours avéré un lieu où les ingrédients et le service de qualité supérieurs font la loi. Fondé en 1860 par Narcisse Rioux, le magasin général Chez Rioux & Pettigrew fournissait aux restaurateurs, aux épiciers, aux hôpitaux et aux communautés religieuses une grande variété de produits locaux ou d’importation.

Barils de mélasse, poches de farine, sucre, gruau, fruits et légumes en conserves, épices, noix, raisins secs, chocolat, bonbons présentés sur des étalages… On y trouvait même de l’alcool jusqu’à la création de la Commission des liqueurs en 1921!

Plusieurs reliques empruntées à cette époque ont trouvé leur place dans notre décor actuel. Vous souhaitez vivre l’immersion signée Rioux & Pettigrew?

Great food & wonderful staff. We really enjoyed this restaurant & would highly recommend the chefs menu with wine pairing. Everything tasted amazing!

We had a beautiful meal on a warm August evening. We chose the 4-course meal, & was not disappointed. The kids had mocktails, & we enjoyed the wine pairings. All of it was excellent, but the cod was outstanding. Highly recommended for a special, memorable meal.

The dinner was absolutely perfect. We had the onion tart & the Char w/ kimchi. Filling but not heavy with layers of flavor. The team working there & waiting on us were knowledgeable & fun. We highly recommend this for your night out in Quebec City.

This is my second visit to this restaurant, we are from Ottawa visiting Quebec City. The food here is special & unique. I highly recommend it for a gastronomic delight. We had the blind 4 course meal & it was incredible.

Chez Rioux & Pettigrew was amazing from the moment we were greeted until the moment we left. The service was perfect, & the atmosphere was cozy :) My wife & I had the bread & four dishes (halibut cervice, smoked meat, lambchops & octopus, & arctic char). Everything was prepared to perfection; I personally enjoyed the halibut cervice the most!) Highly recommended!

Fun decor, awesome service, & amazingly flavorful food! We did the blinded 4 course meal with wine pairing & were not disappointed at all. I would go back & highly recommend this restaurant.

Food & service was amazing! The menu was fresh & delicious. Our server gave us some great recommendations along with some wines as well. The aesthetic of the restaurant was also beautiful! Would highly recommend a meal here.
