AFFAMÉS D’HISTOIRE?

Le 160, rue Saint-Paul s’est toujours avéré un lieu où les ingrédients et le service de qualité supérieurs font la loi. Fondé en 1860 par Narcisse Rioux, le magasin général Chez Rioux & Pettigrew fournissait aux restaurateurs, aux épiciers, aux hôpitaux et aux communautés religieuses une grande variété de produits locaux ou d’importation.

Barils de mélasse, poches de farine, sucre, gruau, fruits et légumes en conserves, épices, noix, raisins secs, chocolat, bonbons présentés sur des étalages… On y trouvait même de l’alcool jusqu’à la création de la Commission des liqueurs en 1921!

Plusieurs reliques empruntées à cette époque ont trouvé leur place dans notre décor actuel. Vous souhaitez vivre l’immersion signée Rioux & Pettigrew?

This was the best dining experience we have had in a very long time. The detail in flavour combinations was amazing in each dish. We sat at the bar; the mixologist was amazing & also extremely knowledgeable in the intricacies of the menu & the perfect wine pairings. it all made for a very fun evening!

Absolutely amazing blind 4 course tasting menu. Will definitely return, but would skip the wine pairings as some of these were not to my taste

Great experience. We took the discovery menu & were pleasantly surprised with every delicious dish. Wine pairing was also a great choice ! The waiters & environment were very friendly & cozy. I highly recommend this restaurant :)

Friendly & welcoming experience. Comfortable & eclectic atmosphere. The 4 course tasting menu with wine pairings was excellent! We had a great business meeting & thoroughly enjoyed the food & service!

We had the chef's choice 4 course with wine pairing. Pure & simple joy! The service was on point & the atmosphere was very pleasant!!

Absolutely amazing. We ordered the Pettigrew menu with the wine Pairing which was such an excellent service leaving us with a surprise at every meal. Our server Zachary was very detail oriented & always checking in with every dish. Each pairing complimented every meal perfectly. We started with an additional cocktail & I was served one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had. The salted & smoked butterfish was by far our favourite dish. This restaurant is not just a place to come for a nice dinner, but a fascinating culinary adventure. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful restaurant & location. Had the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing which was outstanding.......HOWEVER.....you may want to have a snack beforehand as the portions are very small & we left still hungry. I took a star away for this as I have had tasting menus many times before & this was the first time i left still hungry. Felix was a great host for us & cannot recommend him enough!

What a wonderful spot!

I'm not a big review person however this place deserves a 5 star!

Right from the beginning a welcoming staff, to a unique table setting, & the food.... Nothing but perfection!

Highly recommend letting the staff pick all the meals & the wine pairings!

Will be back again!
