We enjoyed our dishes but were a bit disappointed in the service. We watched a demanding (& quite frankly, rude) couple come in significantly after us who got their order taken & received their food well before us. My wine was empty before our order was taken. When our order was finally taken, the server left before asking if I'd like more wine. The server seemed completely captivated by trying to tend to the demanding couple & unfortunately forgot about his other patrons. It was unfortunate because everything else was pretty good. The covid walls between tables make the ambiance a bit awkward, but if you're able to reserve a table in the window that would be beautiful. I wish I had known to reserve a window table.

Our experience at Chez Rioux & Pettigrew was easily one of our top 5 meals ever!! The service was stellar & the staff went above & beyond to make our meal & overall experience perfect! We sat at the bar, which allowed us to chat with the bartender & made us feel close to the action. Our cocktails were great, & each course of the meal + wine pairing were delicious & perfectly matched. We even tried a few new things, even though we consider ourselves foodies! We will certainly be returning next time we viist Québec!

Loved this restaurant. The food was out of this world. Loved the ambiance - a little eclectic - the beautiful windows, the old brick wall, not a single matching chair in the restaurant. If you enjoy the whole experience of dining, you'll love this place. We had a fantastic server named Lena from France who was very knowledgeable about the wines & menu & very pleasant to talk to. Will go back for sure next time I'm in Quebec City.

My husband & I had the ‘blind menu' & everything was fantastic. The variety, combinations, & sparkling flavours & textures made the meal the best we've had in many years. Friendly staff & good wine rounded out the experience. I would highly recommend!

Good food, good service & great wine. Plus, one of the few places that isn't a tourist trap in old Quebec. Highly recommend. Went back for brunch the next day.

Déçu de l'établissement. Du filet de saumon à l'oseille en entrée & du boudin blanc comme plat de résistance dans un 4 services c'est insatisfaisant.

Côté « wine pairing », trop chiche à environ 4oz par service.

Le tout pour 270 $ (cocktail à l'arrivée, café/tisane à la fin) avant le pourboire : c'est beaucoup trop & c'est décevant dans l'ensemble. Il y a de meilleures tables à Québec dans cette gamme de prix.
