I had dinner with my friend at this place. The experience was incredible. I highly recommend choosing the Chez Rioux & Pettigrew experience with wine paring. Nothing better than unique dishes created by professional chefs & the choice of wines that taste perfectly with the palate. I recommend it & I will definitely come back here next time in Quebec.

While the food & drinks were good, the attention to customers was completely lacking, we were made to wait 1/2 hour in a cold foyer for our 800 resi while party after party was seated & no one came out to check on us. So we were seated at 830, did not have a drink in hand until 9, first plates 945, & mains after 10 A bottle of very good red wine was delivered chilled which we did not accept. It's too bad because the food was interesting but we would not return because of the lack of courtesy from staff - in particular the front of house. The menu & wine pricing was very fair. Definitely has potential.

We tried the tasting menu for dinner & the food was a little disappointing. My partner & I had pretty bad diarrhea after our dinner so the food was prob not well prepared. The tasting menu has 4 courses - cold appetizer, hot appetizer, main & dessert. The main was seared venison which I thought was too tough to chew. The dessert was prob the best dish. Overall, felt the food wasn't worth the hype. Service was really good though. The staff was attentive & gave us a good explanation of the wine pairing.

Exceptional experience! Coming from Montreal I often have high expectations when eating out. This checked off all the boxes! Tucked away in old Quebec, super cozy & quaint, we had a wonderful waitress accompanied by delicious culinary experience from start to finish. We had a hard time deciding what to eat but finally went with the tasting menu... & we were in no way disappointed. Unfortunately I couldn't do the wine pairing because I'm pregnant but I'm sure it would have been exceptional as well. Would highly recommend ❤️

Amazing restaurant! My fiancé & I were visiting Canada & visited Chez Rioux & Pettigrew. The host was so friendly & explained the menu to us after showing us to out seat, which was really cute by the window & even had blankets in case it was too cold. Our server was fantastic she was so friendly & helpful. We chose to do the restaurant experience with the surprise 4 course menu & it did but disappoint. Every single course we had was delicious (also they are very accommodating to any food intolerances or preferences) & every course was paired perfectly with a wine. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone & we will certainly be back on our next trip!!

Very nice dinner on New Year's Day. We thoroughly enjoyed the fixed menu experience & the food. We ate great dishes that we might not have ordered otherwise. Our server & the other staff treated us awesome & provided a great explanation of each dish & our wine pairings. The attention to detail was obvious. We would definitely visit R&P again on our next trip to Quebec City.
