Chez Temporel is a well-known spot in Quebec City, & we had high expectations for our brunch. We ordered the Croque-Monsieur & Eggs Benedict. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the cafe's reputation. While it wasn't bad, it didn't stand out as exceptional either. On a positive note, the service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly & helpful, which made our visit more pleasant. Overall, a decent experience, but we were hoping for a bit more given the cafe's fame.

The food was best we had in Canada. The atmosphere is amazing. We ended up coming back multiple times for breakfast & dinner because nothing could beat it. Recommend: eggs Benedict & beef shoulder!

Restaurant charmant sur rue calme. Les oeufs bénédictines étaient bons & le gâteau au fromage excellent ! Ambiance beaucoup plus agréable que les restos le long des rue passantes tout en étant en plein centre

Perdus au milieu d'une zone ultra-touristique, nous avons failli nous faire arnaquer par une femme trop insistante. Puis, nous éloignant, & au gré de super commentaires, nous avons décidé de monter dans le vieux Québec rejoindre Chez Temporel... Le patron, sa belle-maman & la cuisine nous ont fait passer le meilleur restaurant de notre voyage d'un mois au Canada 🤩✨! Les enfants se sont régalés (surtout le grand avec son croque-monsieur) & les adultes aussi (le cheesecake 🍰& les bières pressions sont à tomber...) 😋! Encore merci pour ce joli moment 👏🏽👍🏽

Definitely a homegrown, local spot in the best way. I sat outside & really enjoyed myself. The menu seems to change frequently...dont expect to eat what you see in these photos...but the foie on pistachio bread was creaveable. I recommend this spot!

Fabulous dinner in an intimate setting. Menu was small & curated. Service was stellar; ingredients were fresh. Both traditional French dishes & innovative flavors were on the menu. So glad we found this gem as it is worlds apart from typical tourist fare.
