It is located on a quiet street. The atmosphere in the establishment is very cozy & pleasant. The service is excellent, the waiters are friendly & attentive to details. The dishes are a special pleasure. We tried gazpacho, onion soup, risotto, duck leg & dessert. Everything is very tasty & fresh, you can feel that it is prepared from fresh products. The duck leg was very tender & juicy
I had heard a lot about this place. I was looking forward to the steak tartare, but no sooner did I sit down, I was informed that this was off the menu. The menu is limited & not much else appealed to me, so I had the escargots, which were quite good. The bistro is a cozy nook & the maître d & waitress were very courteous.
Cozy little spot with a warm, local feel. Tried the French onion soup, & it was really good-rich, cheesy, & comforting. The atmosphere felt relaxed & hidden-gem style, & the staff were friendly. A nice place to stop for a simple French meal in Québec.
A small & lovely restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The staff were attentive & took great care of us throughout the visit. The food was delicious & definitely worth the price.
My partner & I were in Quebec City off season (early april) & stumbled into this place on our first day for lunch. The atmosphere is so charming & cozy I remember it very fondly, & that includes the dishes. Coffee was ok & the breakfast croissant was pretty good (with my favorite croissant I tried in Quebec City/Montreal but I'm not an expert) but it was the duck confit salad we still reminisce about. It made me want to eat salad for every meal, light & rich at the same time! Definitely worth a stop by if you get the chance, especially since it is in a very charming part of the old city too.
The onion soup was insanely good! 🙆?♀?
I was so full I could only manage the soup 🥲
The place has a cute, cozy vibe & feels like a local hidden gem ✨🤫
Plus, the staff were really friendly :)
Chez Temporel is a true hidden little gem in Quebec City. If you are looking for an excellent meal in a cozy & warm atmosphere, look no further. It's a necessary stop every time I visit the area, the staff is very friendly & welcoming. LOVE IT
