It's located in the Old Town, but down a quiet side street away from the busy tourist area. The building is old, & the interior is not particularly fancy, but the atmosphere, imaginative ingredient combinations, & excellent wine list made for a memorable evening. We ordered the foie gras & escargot to start, followed by the mushroom risotto with duck, & the salmon. All were delicious! It's worth noting that the English translation of the online menu did not inspire us with confidence before we decided to book a table - don't be put off by that!
Quaint restaurant with divine French onion soup. Enjoyed mushroom risotto with duck, shrimp roll, escargot, cafe latte, couple of glasses of wine, slice of sugar pie. Waitress did a good job- she was the solo server.
I had the two dishes during Christmas, the soup of the day & mushroom risotto.
The food quality are good, but it could be my personal appetite that they are way too salty for me. It gets more & more salty as i try to finish them. Had to drink a lot of water.
Belle découverte! Ambiance agréable, la nourriture est excellente. La bavette parfaitement cuite avec sa purée de petits pois. Le risotto aux champignons généreux & délicieux. À la prochaine!
I had a wonderful dinner here. The French onion soup was fantastic & the risotto was out of this world! Best risotto I've ever had!! The owner was 1 of the people who took care of me & was very nice & accommodating. The night I went was very busy but the service didn't lack at all. I cannot wait to come back to the city so I can come back to this restaurant!
FANTASTIC MEAL!! I hardly ever write reviews but this place was amazing!!! It's a hidden gem with excellent food, great staff, & cozy vibe. I had the mushroom risotto with duck confit & it is probably one of the best meals I've ever had!! Do not miss this if you are in Québec City!!!!
While traveling quebec my wife & i found this place on accident. The first day we came here for the lunch menu & it was so great that we had to come back for dinner. The highlights in terms of food where the mushroom risotto with duck, the fisherman's pie & especially the artichoke dip (absolute must try). all the staff were incredibly nice but especially Flora on the second night was incredibly friendly. amazing place, huge recommendation
The food was ok, but very few options available on the menu, & even some of them weren't available on that day. The service was just fair, 6 people behind the bar but only 2 really working so the order was delayed & mistaken. They speak French & English so language wasn't an issue. The onion soup was tasty but a bit expensive for the size ($14/each). The risotto was overcooked, more like a rice pudding texture. Not the worst, but neither the best restaurant in old quebec.

The Arctic Char & the Seafood Risotto were delicious as was the Crème Brûlée with sea buckthorns to balance the sweetness. Our server was personable, attentive, & helpful. A real gem.

Dinner was great we had snails, foie gras, potatoe soup, scallops crudo, our main meal was Duck risotto & Octopus. We enjoyed thoroughly
