Ambiance agréable, la nourriture est excellente. La bavette parfaitement cuite avec sa purée de petits pois. Le risotto aux champignons généreux & délicieux. À la prochaine!
I had a wonderful dinner here. The French onion soup was fantastic & the risotto was out of this world! Best risotto I've ever had!! The owner was 1 of the people who took care of me & was very nice & accommodating. The night I went was very busy but the service didn't lack at all. I cannot wait to come back to the city so I can come back to this restaurant!
FANTASTIC MEAL!! I hardly ever write reviews but this place was amazing!!! It's a hidden gem with excellent food, great staff, & cozy vibe. I had the mushroom risotto with duck confit & it is probably one of the best meals I've ever had!! Do not miss this if you are in Québec City!!!!
While traveling quebec my wife & i found this place on accident. The first day we came here for the lunch menu & it was so great that we had to come back for dinner. The highlights in terms of food where the mushroom risotto with duck, the fisherman's pie & especially the artichoke dip (absolute must try). all the staff were incredibly nice but especially Flora on the second night was incredibly friendly. amazing place, huge recommendation
The food was ok, but very few options available on the menu, & even some of them weren't available on that day. The service was just fair, 6 people behind the bar but only 2 really working so the order was delayed & mistaken. They speak French & English so language wasn't an issue. The onion soup was tasty but a bit expensive for the size ($14/each). The risotto was overcooked, more like a rice pudding texture. Not the worst, but neither the best restaurant in old quebec.

The Arctic Char & the Seafood Risotto were delicious as was the Crème Brûlée with sea buckthorns to balance the sweetness. Our server was personable, attentive, & helpful. A real gem.

Dinner was great we had snails, foie gras, potatoe soup, scallops crudo, our main meal was Duck risotto & Octopus. We enjoyed thoroughly

Chez Temporel was our first night out for dinner on our two-week honeymoon & boy, did we set the bar high!! It's tucked away like a hidden gem from the tourist traps closeby & the atmosphere is warm & cozy. It is evident the staff are all happy to be there; they are welcoming, so kind, having a great time with their guests as well as with each other. The restaurant is small & the kitchen is open, so a guest easily feels like part of the Chez Temporel family. Besides the amazing atmosphere & service, the food is excellent & at a great value. We ordered a bottle of wine, the charcuterie board, octopus, duck breast & duck risotto. Oh & for dessert we had their maple syrup pie made in house... everything was fantastic & we will be telling everyone we know visiting Quebec City to eat here! Thank you for this experience!

It was fantastic! Octopus was so good we order both appetizer & entree. Duck confit sale & risotto was very good as well!

My wife & I ordered the Charcuterie cheese board, smoked salmon salad & the mushroom duck risotto. Absolutely delicious!! This restaurant is located on a small street, away from too much traffic a quieter surrounding which I liked. The server was friendly too.
