The seared fois gras was outstanding & so well presented that I had to take a photo. For our main meals, my husband had the beef cheek & I had the octopus. Both had amazing flavours, & the crème brûlée rounded off a perfect dinner. For 3 courses plus a bottle of red wine cost around $350, including the tip, but it was worth it. Friendly service too.

A limited menu with wonderful food, the cod was outstanding & the wines offered by the glass were very nice! Great service. :)
Great cuisine & very hospitable staff. I ordered the Cod with a glass of white wine & finished with a slice of the maple pie. The meal was fantastic start to finish & could not of asked for a better experience.

Wonderful food & wine in a casual setting! Excellent, attentive service!

Chez Temporel was our first night out for dinner on our two-week honeymoon & boy, did we set the bar high!! It's tucked away like a hidden gem from the tourist traps closeby & the atmosphere is warm & cozy. It is evident the staff are all happy to be there; they are welcoming, so kind, having a great time with their guests as well as with each other. The restaurant is small & the kitchen is open, so a guest easily feels like part of the Chez Temporel family. Besides the amazing atmosphere & service, the food is excellent & at a great value. We ordered a bottle of wine, the charcuterie board, octopus, duck breast & duck risotto. Oh & for dessert we had their maple syrup pie made in house... everything was fantastic & we will be telling everyone we know visiting Quebec City to eat here! Thank you for this experience!

Very enjoyable evening of delicious food & wine. Our server Lu was superb & engaging. Will gladly visit again when we are in town.

Had a wonderful dinner for Fete des Peres. Duck accompanied by roast vegetables with. puree, a cream of cauliflower soup, an excellent wine chosen by the owner, Louis. Finished with a tarte sirop d'erable with creme glacee & a cafe au lait. Excellent food, atmosphere & service. Recommend.

Great service! Great wine! Sadly part of my main course, the side, was altered without warning me. I got carrots prepared two ways! The manager was not interested in listening to my feedback. Maybe he thought I was attempting to get a discount which I was not. This experience lowered my level of enjoyment.

Excellent little restaurant - well worth booking.
Sophisticated food blending high quality ingredients - foie gras with artichoke purée & wonderful scallops with a carrot & cumin purée both unusual but exceptional
Short but decent wine list
Friendly & helpful staff
Would certainly go again next time in Quebec

If you're visiting Quebec City please mark Le Temporel as a must do for any meal-- breakfast, lunch or dinner. I have made a number of visits over past months enjoyed each & every meal An intimate space with well chosen & well prepared items that change with the seasons. A small but effective wine list & happy atmosphere, all aided by friendly & helpful service. & not expensive so popular with locals & visitors. About a dozen tables place so reservations might be important especially at weekends.
