Absolutely fantastic spot!! Bartender was amazing! Food was incredible & authentically French!! Deserves all the stars!!!
A quiet lunch spot at 2 pm on a Sunday, cosy environment downstairs, larger area upstairs, & a welcoming smile from the server. Menu is not extensive but if the snails & French onion soup are anything to go by, you won't be disappointed if you go for a larger meal. Both were served piping hot. The snails were suitably chewy & flavoursome, but the soup was the best French onion I've ever had. A little bit off the main street but being tucked away is probably a bit of a bonus, especially if you're in a laid back mood.
My partner & I were in Quebec City off season (early april) & stumbled into this place on our first day for lunch. The atmosphere is so charming & cozy I remember it very fondly, & that includes the dishes. Coffee was ok & the breakfast croissant was pretty good (with my favorite croissant I tried in Quebec City/Montreal but I'm not an expert) but it was the duck confit salad we still reminisce about. It made me want to eat salad for every meal, light & rich at the same time! Definitely worth a stop by if you get the chance, especially since it is in a very charming part of the old city too.
Duck salad was the best meal we had in the whole city! Amazing good & service
Petite perle dans la ville de Quebec. Magnifique petit bistro dans le coeur de la ville. La bouffe est super bonne & excellent. Nous avions passé ici tout soudainement le 3 avril. Je recommande à tous, vous serez surpris.
This small, unassuming restaurant provides a big gastronomic/taste expérience.
Use of Québécois ingrédients, applied with imagination déliver complex flavors of « je ne sais quoi. »

Thank you for a wonderful dinner. We likely had the best french onion soup we will taste. All other recommendations we were presented with turned out to be a 10/10. A great Quebec City experience … Merci!
Un bon endroit pour relaxer avec une bonne ambiance, un très bon service & de bons plats (assez bon qualité/prix). Leur soupe a l'oignon est vraiment bonne.
