The table is set for Scalded the French bistro hippest part of Quebec. Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . L'Échaudé is a neighborhood bistro atmosphere, a comfortable dining room or, alternatively, a terrace service on pedestrian street.

Nous avons pris tartare de boeuf comme entre & bavette de boeuf en plat principal. Portion parfaite & excellent comme saveur. Seul bémol pour ma part est la carte des vins qui est tres dispendieuse n'étant pas un grand connaisseur, la bouteille la moins cher etait a 55$ si ma memoire est bonne. sinon je recommande a tous, personnel impécable & service super !

Mes amis & moi avons tout apprécié à l'Échaudé, autant le menu, le service à la clientèle & l'ambiance de ce resto où l'on se croirait dans un bistro français. Nous étions les derniers à partir, & jamais on n'a senti de pression du personnel que c'était l'heure de quitter. À tel point que nous avons dû demander la facture, souvent on nous apporte la facture pour nous inciter à quitter, c'est un restaurant de grande classe à prix abordable que je recommande sans aucune réserve.

The service & food was impeccable. I loved the fish of the day dish -- it was exceptional -- & my partner equally enjoyed his riz de veau. I highly recommend the restaurant. It's friendly, unpretentious, & wonderful food & drinks.
