Moi & mes parents avons visité votre restaurant le samedi, 6 avril dernier. Bien que nous étions en pleine période du Québec Exquis, nous avons tout de même opté pour 3 entrées & 3 plats complètement différents aux saveurs uniques & aux parfums bien distinctifs. Le service fut très courtois & attentionné, la proposition du menu était très complète, variée & alléchante puis nous avons été très surpris par les généreuses portions. Enfin, nous ne sommes pas restés sur notre appétit. Les prix sont comparables à d'autres restos du genre sans pour autant être gonflés outre mesure, ce que nous avons remarqué & apprécié. Le cachet & le côté intimiste de l'endroit nous ont ravis & enchantés. Bref, notre expérience fut exquise & mémorable. Je recommanderais vivement votre resto à quiconque de mes connaissances & y retournerai certainement.
Wonderful ambience, friendly & attentive service & the food was delicious! Our daughters age eight & twelve were offered a childrens menu but selected from both menus - they were well catered for. Our waiter went out of his way to seek help from the Barman to make our girls a non-alcoholic mixed drink that they didn't know. Great place for a special family meal. Highly recommended.
Très bon restaurant, ambiance vraiment sympathique. Notre serveuse a été attentive & très agréable. Ses recommandations étaient intéressantes, variées & appréciées. La nourriture excellente, comme à son habitude. Déjà envie d'y retourner!

Food was very good, service lady was abrupt, unfriendly & unhelpful . When my husband asked her what she felt was very good & would recommend, her response was an abrupt "everything " with no smile. You could tell that when she recommded the Canadian or French wine, & we selected an American wine, she disapproved. It went downhill from the here.
Fantastic classic, well prepared food. Everything was fresh & delicious. The service was impeccable. Loved the tartare trilogy, the veal cheeks, & the confit duck. Great wines by the glass & a really nice, French heavy, wine list. We certainly recommend.
Everything & anything about this wonderful restaurant was great. Super friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere & the food was "5 star". Will definitely return & recommend to all. Thank you

l'accueil est bon & malgré une arrivé des plats un peu longue les plats sont excelents, nous avons mangé notre meilleur fois gras, une viande tendre cuisiné a la perfection acompagné d'un petit vin quebecois lui aussi savoureux. We dined at L'Echaude our first full night in Québec City & it was a smash hit. The atmosphere was very trendy & a full restaurant is always a harbinger of good things to come. The service was relaxed & very friendly. One of our servers was kind enough to help us choose an excellent Spanish white wine that we were both very impressed with. On the down side, my wife ordered two appetizers for her meal & she wasn't particularly keen on either of them. She had the saffron crab cake & the salmon tartare. She found both dishes a bit bland to be honest. But I am writing this review from my perspective & the meal I had was phenomenal. My starter was the cereal-encrusted foie gras with cranberry chutney. It was hands down the best foie gras dish I have ever had. The texture & flavour were both exquisite & the chutney was the perfect complement. For my main, I ordered the leg of rabbit with homemade pasta & again, the flavour profile was spectacular. The meat was moist & rich, the pasta was melt-in-your-mouth & the sauce was superb. We soldiered on with dessert & the creamy chocolate strawberry tart was the perfect ending to a wonderful dining experience. I wouldn't hesitate to come again nor to recommend to friends. We'll be back!
