The table is set for Scalded the French bistro hippest part of Quebec. Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . L'Échaudé is a neighborhood bistro atmosphere, a comfortable dining room or, alternatively, a terrace service on pedestrian street.

This adorable restaurant is in the lower town part of old Quebec. The ambiance is lovely & it's very upscale; with amazing food, wine & service. I would definitely recommend getting their appetizer special, where you get to try 3 appetizers for a fixed price. We enjoyed the charcuterie (which counted as 2 appetizers) & the beef tartare very much. For dinner, the duck was second to none. It was so tender & flavorful. The rib eye for 2 was fantastic also. Our server was helpful & attentive. It was about $380 Canadian dollars for 3 people (with tip), including a bottle of wine.

Souper parfait le 7 décembre 2024 où tout était au rv ; bouffe incroyable ( mon poisson du jour juste wow ) & service impeccable . Une étoile spéciale à Valérie qui a vraiment un bon sens de l'humour & la meilleure vendeuse ( à juste titre ) de la tarte au sucre

Accord des mets bien réaliser cuisine tres bonne . Quantité un peut petite pour un (homme) le service serait à améliorer un peut plus de sourire , parler un peu plus de leurs menus interagir plus avec les clients. Ambiance bonne musique douce mais un peut bruyant avec autant de monde dans une petite place. Prix juste pour la qualité des plats mais pas pour le service.

Great experience. We didn't have a reservation on a Saturday night but were able to get seats at the bar. From the start the service was exceptional with great advice on the menu & the wines. The food & the wines were really good. It was a very enjoyable meal & experience.

We loved dining here. The food is impeccable & staff cheerful & knowledgeable. We noticed a local, repeat clientele, the sign of a genuinely good place. Leave room for dessert: try the the sugar pie & have it served warm with vanilla ice cream.

We had a lovely experience at L'Échaudé. Our meal was well-prepared & delicious. When we complimented the barman on one of his creations he came to our table with the recipe. The staff were all attentive engaged & delightful. Highly recommend. Bon appétit!
