The table is set for Scalded the French bistro hippest part of Quebec. Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . L'Échaudé is a neighborhood bistro atmosphere, a comfortable dining room or, alternatively, a terrace service on pedestrian street.

We had a very enjoyable dinner. My wife had the fish special (halibut), & I had scallops. Both were excellent. The restaurant is very elegant, but not overly formal. The service was good, but not quite commensurate with the other aspects of our meal. This is a fairly expensive restaurant, but a good value given the quality.
