Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . Pour moi, l'Echaudé, c'est une pause salutaire quand je reviens à Québec. Comme disait Proust, l'importance d'être constant. L'Echaude c'est toujours la même qualité. Merci.

Fantastic service, excellent cocktails & wine list. Starters were outstanding, but main courses disappointed; salmon was a tad overcooked & the lobster gnocchi "with morels" had none. Had I known the kitchen was "immorel" I would have chosen a different dish. Desserts & coffee helped finish on a sweet note. We'll return, but next time stick to a selection of small plates.

I very nice restaurant in the Old City a few blocks away from the crowds. It was a beautiful evening so we sat outside & enjoyed a wonder meal with great service & very nice outdoor ambiance.
