The table is set for Scalded the French bistro hippest part of Quebec. Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . L'Échaudé is a neighborhood bistro atmosphere, a comfortable dining room or, alternatively, a terrace service on pedestrian street.

French bistro ambiance. Wonderful vibe, excellent non-intrusive service, delicious food, great wine list, & first-rate tableware, sparkling glassware & (what I love) real linen napkins! Definitely worth a visit...& then another! Highly recommend it!

Le boudin était moins bon que d'habitude & les portions moins copieuses, & la raison qu'on nous a donnée pour la disparition au menu de votre fameux pain doré (qui faisait un parfait dessert...) ne nous a pas convaincus : si le pain brioché que vous utilisiez n'est plus disponible, n'y a-t-il pas moyen de trouver l'équivalent ailleurs ? Votre boudin & votre pain doré étaient nos plats préférés... dommage ! C'est la première fois que nous sommes déçus à l'Échaudé & nous sommes au regret de vous dire que nous tenterons notre chance ailleurs pour notre prochain brunch.
Ceci dit, le service & l'atmosphère sont toujours aussi agréables chez vous.

Mon restaurant préféré à Québec! Peu importe le plat choisi, vous ne serez pas déçu. Le menu change régulièrement, les plats sont inventifs & recherchés, le service est chaleureux & le rapport qualité-prix est imbattable. Ne cherchez pas plus loin!

A wonderful evening awaits you at L'Echaude with a spirited staff, a vibe of excitement & great attention to detail. The menu was varied & delicious. Our waiter Daniel was very knowledgeable & engaging, truly taking the experience to 5 star level. ( difficult to avoid souvide my only criticism)

Très bon service. Nourriture excellente. Restaurant intime & chaleureux. Ma cliente a adoré. Très bon choix pour un midi affaires. J'imagine que les soupers sont merveilleux 😊. & tellement bien situé.
