Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . La nourriture était raffinée & délicieuse. Nous étions venu diner pour profiter de la semaine Manger cru. Notre serveuse est le seul point négatif de notre expérience. Elle n'était pas souriante & semblait déçue que nous ne prenions pas d'apéro. En fait, elle semblait déçue de nos choix de plats également, comme si la facture n'allait pas être assez élevée à son goût... Elle nous a apporté une seule facture pour mon amie & moi, sans nous avoir demandé avant si c'était bien ce que nous voulions. Comme nous étions un peu pressées, nous n'avons pas demander de refaire 2 factures pour sauver du temps. Bien dommage avec l'expérience que son âge laisse deviner qu'elle ne sache pas que l'expérience du midi, si elle est positive, nous amène souvent à y retourner le soir, avec plus de temps & de moyens... Mais nous avons quand même beaucoup apprécié l'endroit & surtout la nourriture!

We had a truly lovely & memorable meal at L'Echaudé. The ambiance is inviting, the service friendly & attentive, & the food delicious. I had the guinea hen which was cooked perfectly & wonderfully seasoned with a sauce & vegetables that were equally tasty. I would definitely recommend & return to this restaurant.
