A fabulous lunch with my husband & two kids in this beautiful restaurant. Sincerely warm service & unbelievable value for the quality of the food. Even the water was unusually good.

L'un de mes endroits préférés, depuis de nombreuses années à Québec, & j'en fais plusieurs… Au cours des années ce resto a su me satisfaire & m'en offrir pour mon argent. Chaque fois qu'un petit quelque chose n'était pas à mon goût on a su me récompenser de quelque chose d'autre… À visiter un resto aussi souvent il est bien normal que parfois quelque chose échappe. Ce resto est populaire & très achalandé & malgré cet achalandage, la constance y est toutefois presque irréprochable! Un endroit de professionnels de la restauration où la note actuelle de 4,4 est selon-moi nettement sous-évaluée…

We've been coming here for over 5 years & they never disappoint. In the summer their terrace is wonderful & in the fall & winter the restaurant has a nice cozy bistro feel.

Service is always attentive but not intrusive. Bistro fare'à son meilleur' & the wine & beverage list is nicely organised on a tablet.

A must when visiting Québec City.

On est allé souper un vendredi soir & le service était extrêmement lent. Un bon 45 minutes avant de pouvoir avoir un cocktail & 1h30 pour avoir notre première assiette. Certains éléments commandés ont été oublié par le serveur, & malgré avoir demandé de recevoir tous nos plats en même temps, ça n'a pas été fait & il fallait attendre pratiquement 40 minutes entre les services. Pour ce qui est de la nourriture, on a vraiment été déçu… On est sorti avec une facture de 250$ à deux (sans avoir pris de vin) & la qualité du service & de la nourriture n'était pas à la hauteur de ce prix. On s'attendrait à mieux d'un restaurant avec une mention au guide Michelin.

Very traditional French high dining restaurant with a mention in Michelin guide.

If you want high quality French cuisine, you will not be disappointed as the place has been here & serving some of these classic dishes like steak tartare since its opening 1984!

However if you are interested in more modern twists to French cuisine, you might not like it that much.

Service was great, however requires a reservation even though there were really two couples in the restaurant & was told that I need to make up my mind about the tasting menu as the kitchen will close soon. This was minutes after my 8pm reservation, so I find that to be not such a nice thing to say, especially at such a high end place, particularly given they were couple hours away from closing with a very empty restaurant.

Other than this, highly recommended!

Commentaires constructifs sur la nourriture:
Le crudo en entrée manque malheureusement de saveur. Il manquait un petit kick.

Le porc laqué était incroyable & vraiment croustillante.
Le canard je recommande,
L'accompagnement de légumes également :)

This was a nice meal.
Server got swamped with lots of people arriving at same time. This coukd be managed by sraged reservations.

Recommandé par une amie de Québec & je la remercie. Excellent sur toute la ligne. Nous étions 2 & avons pris 5 plats & tout était délicieux. Un excellent service également. Je recommande & j'y retournerai certainement à mon prochain passage à Québec

Ont eu la gentillesse de me faire un'pour apportez' en fin de journée. Un pâté de foie dur, sec & sablonneux en bouche. Les monsieurs,/mesdames évaluateurs des étoiles Michelin ont sans doute goûté à autre chose. Gens Aimable mais plate hyper décevant.
