The table is set for Scalded the French bistro hippest part of Quebec. Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . Le service était lent, mais cela s'explique par l'achalandage inhabituel attribuable à la "Nuit des galeries". Le repas était excellent, d'où les 5 étoiles ci-dessus, mais il y avait place malgré tout à quelques améliorations mineures que j'aurais suggérées oralement si l'occasion s'en était présentée.

Je vais toujours à ce restaurant lorsque je vais à Québec
Mais cette fois nous avons été tres déçu
L'entrée de saumon était plus qu'ordinaire, la burrata avec piment ne goûtait rien & mon tartare était correct mais mes frites étaient froide
Je ne pense pas y retourne

Our server was a little slow taking our wine order. He forgot to bring the bread we requested, & the wrong main course was brought to one of us. Normally service is excellent, & we will come again regardless.

We had a late seating & toward the end of the meal, some of the staff left their shifts & it reduced the attentiveness at the table side as the focus seemed to be on wind down practices for end of service.
