The table is set for Scalded the French bistro hippest part of Quebec. Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . Nice restaurant but portions a bit small.
Next time would order few orders of bread first.

Bit of challenge with small entrees course & small mains to know how much to order.

Stopped here while in Quebec on a cruise. We got the beef tartare & it was outstanding! Drinks were good too & they have a great patio outside.

Return visit... decor & ambiance excellent . Extremely busy evening .. wished a table on the terrace which was accommodated with a slight delay . Service attentive until after appetizers.. then very long wait for main courses .. Veal dish served cold on a hot plate ... had to get up to find someone to help out .. dish was replaced with a different piece of veal (same plate).. but new piece of meat very tough .. did not eat ...
Was not charged for plate (appreciated this ..). Left with a somewhat disappointing feeling after many pleasant previous experiences..
Will try again - hopefully on an evening less busy ..
