The table is set for Scalded the French bistro hippest part of Quebec. Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . Nous avions réservé à ce restaurant suite aux bonnes critiques retrouvées sur internet
Beau restaurant de type grand Café.
Le service à été rapide,affable & efficace.
Le bémol se trouve au niveau de la conceptions des plats.
Le goût du foie gras au torchon était caché par les combinaisons acides du plat.
Le plat signature de fromage de chevre était peu goûteux. Mon plat principal de ris de veau était cependant savoureux.
Donc belle soirée mais conception des plats à améliorer.

I booked the restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday, I did not want a tourist trap kind of restaurant in the center of Quebec Old City.
This place did not disappoint, the staff were excellent, food was amazing & wine selection vast.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food & attentive service, high quality ingredients. Wonderful halibut, oysters & burrata. $60 bottle foe good Soave.

Off the beaten path = authentic fine dining, not touristy. We opted to sit outside on the nice terrasse as it was a beautiful night for BD celebration. We will return.
