Chef Jean-François Girard presents an innovative and contemporary approach to cooking "Bistro" with a lunch menu varies each day and taking its source in the different seasonal products from the greater Quebec City area. Add to that a wine list with over 400 references carefully selected by our sommelier, Guillaume Blanchette, who will at the same time, advise you that unique bottle that will make you smile or the glass of wine that will marry perfectly with your meal . This was our first trip to Quebec City. I spent a lot of time online researching restaurants in the area, eventually choosing L'Echaude. All of the staff were outstanding & were very attentive to make sure our dog had enough water. The food was outstanding! We will definitely return when in the area.

Excellent repas & très bonne suggestion de vin de la serveuse pour accompagner nos tartares de boeuf. comme à l'habitude un service hors pair. Petite suggestion: est-ce que le tartare de boeuf pourrait comporter les options légèrement, modérément ou très relevé? Ce serait un plus mais cela ne nous emp^chera pas de retourner à votre restaurant.

Although the food was excellent, we had to wait almost 1 hour for our main dish following our appetizer. We had to ask one of the servers about our meal as other patrons seated after us received their meals promptly.
